Speaking of West Ham. Whats the odds of tomorrow’s game being abandoned?

Can imagine it becomes a bit of a Moyes at West Ham type situation where the results are there but the ‘style’ isn’t and then fan unrest starts.

It’s beggars belief we have the greatest Premier League CB of all time ‘available’ and we aren’t using him. Our CB’s are our weakest group (People will say CM but compare both groups at full fitness) and it’s not necessarily an ability issue as opposed to a mentality one. Get JT in, get him into these lads heads. He’d instantly get Josh & Levi more committed by just being around. The only one that’s a lost cause is probably Fofana as I don’t think there’s much going on up there.

I’m actually excited, not just for this game but just to watch us again. Hasn’t been the case for what feels like an eternity.

However, all that aside, he looks absolutely unreal and I can understand the frustration when the likes of Dowman at Arsenal are getting minutes in a stronger side than he is in a weaker Utd side.

24th October they play us, will they have scored by then and more worryingly how many will they score against us (We’ll still outscore them but still…) The team that can’t score vs the team that can’t keep a clean sheet.

Need to pump the brakes on the panic stations a little bit. Just compare the results so far to last seasons, we lost 2-1 to Fulham at their place last season, we won 3-2 this. We lost 3-1 to Brighton at the Bridge last, we won 4-3 this. Replace Hull with Burnley (fair I think) and we drew at home and did again. Yes we lost to Arsenal, bears sh*t in woods (not Polar Bears though…) But we’re +6 points in comparison to last seasons fixtures and play such easier to watch and enjoyable football. I’d personally rather be worrying about shoring up a defence than the stress of last season wondering where a goal is going to come from. Xabi is good, life is good. Enjoy it.

But Falklands Fernandez impacts both the CB & the GK by throwing himself at the flight of the ball from an offside position? Impacting both’s ability to play the ball. It’s a dog awful decision on par with not sending Bruno off as well.
