Michael Mancienne
Adebayor gave him a torrid time at the weekend but when I have seen him before he looks ok. I think he needs to put some bulk on. Richards and Nedum are beasts in comparison to him and quicker and pretty much the same age. Against the more physical teams and strikers at this level he is going to get bullied in my opinion. He couldnt get near Adebayor all game and I was just as surprised as you to see Ade just run away from him with ease.

Calum Davenport stabbed in the legs
Apparently one of the men has been charged with GBH and ABH, unbelievable. Attempted murder is what this should have been.

Above average player in the premier league is better than a completely gash player in the premier league though!

How much did you pay for Veron who was already a flop? Whatever it was it was 100% over his actual value. We have really over paid for the guy, but Hughes has been pretty much bang on so far and he was hell bent on this one so if he thinks its worth it Ill take his word for it. The fee is actually 22 plus add ons and they lose a percentage to Wolves as well.

To be honest there the games im looking forward to. Arsenal are playing so well and its going to be interesting to see how we go into the game against the scum. They have got weaker and we have got stronger. Plus camel mouth is out injured so hopefuly they will play Gary Chuckle and John O'shyte.

Well it looks like this could well be over tomorrow. Moyes has now said it was all about the price all along. I imagine the Everton fans will feel a little let down by his "not for sale under any circumstance" stance now he has admitted this. Oh well, onwards to the FA hearing if you believe the paper, hope we dont get a 'harsh' penalty like yourselves.

Fair enough but now he is stating there is a valuation after all. Id say he is in the process of backtracking.

David Moyes is now hanging Lescott out to dry for daring to want to leave. I think thats harsh in all honesty. The guy has handed in a transfer request. Gone down the correct avenues and now he is being flogged in public because he hasnt instantaneously snapped back round to Moyes way of thinking. I do think it could be Moyes attempt at backtracking to get himself out of the hard line stance he has been holding.

To be honest, so am I. We are obviously being told that Lescott is likely, which is why Hughes has been like a dog with a bone. Personally I would rather go for Hangealand, a player that will dominate an opposition striker and has height. Working out Hughes is ridiculous though. Each window he has had a fascination with Bellamy, RSC and now Lescott.

Oh dear. It was said in jest! I remember when the January transfer window closed and the first thing Sky did was phone Allardyce to congratulate St Sam for fending us off. Keep picking away though. Yawn.

Why because I called him stubborn? Oh no, what a horrific slagging off!

He doesnt have to sell him, of course not. But if you were trying to move for a player and said player had put in the request to leave to join you while their manager blocked it constantly, someone as opinionated as yourself would, im pretty positive, wouldnt be so diplomatic towards said manager. Of course for arguments sake, you would honor the managers word and want Chelsea to walk away wouldnt you... Lescotts agent has been on talksport and stated Joleon will go on strike. I dont agree with it but it cant be good for dressing room harmony and possibly for future arrivals at Everton who see a player being held against his wishes to pursue another challenge. WITH LOADS OF MONEY TO BOOT!

Its more like the Barry to Liverpool saga last season. It is evident we want him and evident he wants to leave. Moyes is the only stumbling block. A manager that i imagine will be off to Old Trafford the minute the glazers come calling. The same Moyes that held Everton to Ransom over a new contract this time last year casting doubt on the start to their season. its ok though. St David is saving football.

Your right, the fact that they paid 32 million for Berbaflop put paid to any hope Tevez had of playing there. would of been very different had he of accepted their offer though. So your saying that if the formation called for it he wouldnt start at Chelsea when you have cack like Kalou on your books and he starts from time to time? i would say he is a better player than Malouda and he can play out wide in the correct formation.

Already answered that above. I dont think he is worth anywhere near what we have offered, but Hughes is hell bent on signing premiership proven players so it looks as though it will be Lescott, Upson or Distin. He wants a left footed CB. Tevez wouldnt get in the United side over Owen? i think Ancelotti would find room for him as well.

The website is absolutely brilliant. we have our own matchday centre as well with constant updates, radio commentary. All for free. they have also streamed some of the pre season matches free of charge. No advertising on there either. Its state of the art stuff. As for the defense. Dunne, Ben haim are beyond gash. Richards has had a brain transplant, zaba and Kompany are equally good in midfield. Onouha is a bit of a sick note. We need Lescott before we can get rid of some of the sh*te. The first two I mentioned are likely to be out the door.

Man City bigger than Real Madrid
Absolute nutcase but I love the guy! Westway Wonder, id have to say that the fact the rape allegation came out at the same time as he bunked to Brazil was a much larger factor than Kaka not signing.Im still amazed we have kept him here and everyone has stopped linking him elsewhere because he is "unhappy." He looks perfectly happy to me so it amuses me to hear him talking us up over the top. Last season he had, Benjani, Ched Evans and Caicedo to supply. Now he has Adebayor, Tevez an RSC. Im sure he must be happier.

In my opinion, Lescott is not worth twenty million, he seems to have taken it personally that we are after one of their players, publicly lambasting us at every opportunity, even dragging Philip Chuckle out to have a go. But it was ok for them to take Jo on loan for another season without making a payment and only paying 60% of his wages. Didnt see him moaning about that. We have bid top money for a player that cost them 5 million, Moyes is openly winging about a lack of funds and yet he wont accept an insane amount of money for Lescott.(I know he is probably his best player) Now the player has handed in a transfer request and has stated he wants to leave, he has made it public and rejected it. I cant remember a player in recent memory that has had a transfer request rejected that has stayed on and fulfilled their contract. Listening to the Everton fans, they think he should let him go and use the money to strengthen.

What do you lot think about this protracted transfer? To be honest im getting sick of it in all honesty, but think Moyes is being a right stubborn c**t. The problem we have is that he knows that Lescott will have to stay and perform in order to go to the world cup. I honestly thought they would of crumbled by now but despite already moaning about a lack of money they seem determined to keep a player who is worth no where near twenty million.
