  1. He will be the mainstay keeper for years at one of the leagues biggest clubs if he has the patience.
  2. I agree that there will be envious glances being cast around the league at Joe, but we have him contracted for another 4 years and could loan him out again next season if we see fit. Personally I would have him back now over Given. The guy is a brilliant shot stopper but seemingly has lead boots on when it comes to leaving his 6 yard area. I would go as far to say that he has caused some of the defensive errors due to players having to defend from the 6 yard line out at all times. Trust me that he will never sign for the scum. He hates them. Arsenal I wouldnt begrudge him, but anywhere else would be a shame. We worked hard on bringing him through since his Shrewsbury days and I would be mortified to see him leave. He is undoubtedly the best English keeper around and can only get better. I wanted him to be our Casillas in that he grew and learnt with the team and our number one mainstay. The problem being that Hughes seems to only like players he signed so Joe was forced to move for no other reason than that. He had done nothing wrong to warrant us signing Shay.
  3. Haha you wont get Hart. No chance.
  4. Garrido's yesterday was a far better take as well. Have to say i've been won over by Mancini. I was very dubious after the way in which hughes was dismissed, but to see in 5 days, the way Roberto has instilled a new confidence and has made us look a team is pretty good going. The football we played last night at times was stunning. 34 passes unchallenged as well as 40 yard one touch passing. Incredible to see and a refreshing change from direct punts from the cb's.
  5. 'Riccy' wouldnt have had the foul given against him had he not intentionally stuck his boot in. It was as clear as day. And Plokoon, Given is immense and easily the best in the league. You are deluded if you think Cech is as good right now. Anyway im sure you lot will pick yourself up. I like the way you think we are continual divers, Oh the irony!
  6. To be honest, our perfomance yesterday reminded me of you lot under Mourinho. We have a strong team that can mix it up with the best of the,. We also have that skill that can cause problems. We cause plenty of teams problems by tearing them open. We have done it to Arsenal twice this season. Against Chelsea you are never going to pull them all over the place, you are too disciplined for that. Our tactics were bang on yesterday. We are hardly reminiscent of Hughes blackburn side. Thats just a cheap shot. If we were then we would of been kicking lumps out of you, the shoe for that was firmly on the other side and imbedded in several of our players. Oh and Given is easily the best keeper in the league. you only have to look at his saves yesterday to realise that. You were never getting through but for an unlucky ricochet.
  7. Your entire back line was booked. You were the dirtiest team to play at Eastlands all season. Im sorry to say that. Perhaps thats the winning attitude we lack to kill off the sh*t of the league like Hull and Burnley. When it came down to it, we beat you, and beat you well. 3 points was what we deserved on the day and shows that hopefully our recent form was our bad patch. We have our frailties granted, but one loss all season proves we are a bloody hard team to beat. Our only defeat was in extrenly dubious circumstance as well. You obviously have your frailties, Cech being one of them which is surprising.
  8. Is the ghost of baconface haunting this thread?
  9. Nah, Ivanovic and Baletti are the only ones. Maybe Terry for being a mard arse.
  10. Bridge has medial ligament damage. Ivanovic should of walked as well. The amount of final, final warnings he received was a joke.
  11. In my opinion your midfield didn't get going thanks to de Jong. He really dominated you today. To be honest you can be thankful to Webb for bottling sending a couple of your players off. At least you won't suffer from any suspensions. I pray you win the league unless we can go on some ridiculous run. I hate the fact our victory is being written as a favour to the rags. I am amazed at how well we played today. Tevez, Given, Lescott, Swp and of course Nige were immense. Ps. How baletti wasn't sent off is beyond me. That 'tackle' on Bridge was a disgrace and has potentially injured him for a while.
  12. De Jong ate your midfield today. An incredible player and performance.
  13. Drogba has been an absolute tank this season. I have made comments on here about his habit of rolling around in agony for what seems like eternity for no apparent reason at least 6 times a game. However under Ancelotti and playing alongside the elk he looks back to his absolute best. He rarely goes down anymore and looks full of confidence. A great player to watch when he is in the form he is in now. Against Arsenal he was unbelievably good and im absolutely sh*tting myself about the weekend. We are going to get tonked. Drogba will cause carnage amongst our ramshackle defence.
  14. Brilliant from Drogba as he decided to stay on his feet this time. He is an incredible player but christ is it annoying watching him flailing around all over the place.
  15. Must of really hurt!! Next time he is tackled and the dippers break he will be on his arse again.
  16. Drogba. What a tough guy he is. Counted him on the deck clutching various body parts 5 times since the 40th minute. He will probably have to leave in an ambulance due to the severity of his injuries.
  17. Just unbelievable. After the 4th goal. How I didnt end up in a brawl after this game is beyond me.
  18. I know we froze, especially in the second half, but we were dominating before half time and should of been ahead. Second half we played from the point and proved we could of gone on to win had we have pushed on at 2 all. Im so pissed off and i am steaming. Bellamys celebration took 40 seconds, he added on f**king ridiculous time. I cant look at this. we deserved our point today and i am now even more confident that we can mix it up with the top 4. We battered Arsenal and should of had a point today. The only team I am worried about is yourselves.
  19. Im f**king steaming. Honestly I cant put into words how angry and upset I am. Oh and Bellamy will be facing a ban next. However it was a beautiful moment as a scum fan tried to front up to him resulting in this beauty. Night night you plastic c**t.
  20. God I hope this c**t doenst turn up at City.
  21. To be honest I would take a draw now. Im sh*tting bricks. I really fancied our chances until the fall out from last saturday. I dont think they are anywhere near as good as they used to be and genuinely believe on paper we are as good as them, we have definitely started better than them. However in my heart I say we will win 2.1. In my head I think we will lose, maybe comfortably beaten as well. We just dont have an outlet to aim at and that will cost us. Ireland is fit. Bellamy will work tirelessly and there are rumors Tevez will play but what we needed was a big player to hit when needed to to allow us to puch out. I even half wish Benjani was fit as at least he is a target, not much of a good one but I think you know what I mean. It says alot that I got a call from a proper United fan saying how relieved he is at our front 3 all injured and banned. For the first time in all the years I have known him thought they were going to lose. I cant see anything other than a defeat unfortuantly but f**k it, we beat them with Vassell in the team the season before last, anything is possible!! Haha I know you lot have taken some serious sh*t and I remember the stuff with Essien. Amazing player, and far from dirty. As for Ade coming out and speaking, he seems to believe he didnt mean it, at 10,000 frames per second it looks awful, at full speed it looks like nothing. I cant defend him. But im glad he is speaking out. He is not dragging out, the media are doing that, Im half expecting one of the cleaners to complain about a sh*t he took before the game and how the bar steward wouldnt flush they are scraping that low now.
  22. Oh I see Fabregas is now claiming Adebayor should of had another red card in the game which they got tonked in but seem to be doing a nice job of deflecting from. Sick of it now. He has played another game since this "horror" tackle that was just a coming together of two players going for the ball. Sick to f**king death of the witch hunt now, that is what it has become, a witch hunt.
  23. http://www.mousebreaker.com/games/badadebayor/playgame Play the Adebayor game now.
  24. I think your fellow fans have given you a far more dignified response than I could so I wont bother saying other than what a pathetic outlook.
