Adam Johnson
Thats right we outbid you to the tune of 100 million and are paying him 500k a week. In actual fact we payed 6 million for him. Glad we had the balls to put our faith in him and our reaping the rewards. Absolute superstar in the making without the billy big bollocks attitude of most of the other english players, (ours included.) All Adam seems interested in is getting better and better and its what he is doing every time he steps out on the pitch. He absolutely tortures left backs now, so much so they are trying to double or treble up on him and yet he still finds a way through. One of the few players that I genuinely believe wants to be at the club thanks to our belief in him and giving him the chance to shine.

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals
I appreciate what you are saying Loz, but its this type of rationale that has rattled me for years regarding us when we beat a top team. It has always been "Well, United/Arsenal/Chelsea/Dippers were poor, any side in the league would have beaten them last night." On this occasion I just dont agree. We unsettled them we were first to every second ball, much stronger in the tackle and fast to break and clinical when a sight of goal appeared. They just didnt have an answer. We made them look poor. It was a great display of balanced physical and tactical play. Believe me though, i'm not getting carried away by it, I have a horrid feeling we will throw it all away by Sunday but in the mean time, I'm going to enjoy a very good performance.

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals
As the WestwayWonder said. I imagine the system will be flexible enough, depending on opposition to bench one of Barry/De Jong and put Milner into the middle and play Balotelli off the striker or on the wing. If we really go for it in a match then we remove two of the central players and play Silva in the hole or on the wing and Switch Balotelli to up top. We have a scary amount of flexibility and versatility in the squad now. I just hope we can take the momentum on. Its always been our downfall. Sunderland on Sunday is they type of banana skin we have been slipping on for as long as I can remember. I imagine the line up will be identical to the team last night with Balotelli replacing Jo on the bench. Cheers for the congratulations Westway, I would have loved for us to score more last night and had the ref not been sympathetic to Skrtel there could well have been a few more.

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals
Milner had one of the best debuts I can remember. He linked everything together from front to back. The lad has an engine on him like no one else I have seen in a City shirt. He got two assists, mad some brilliant interceptions and tackles and right at the death pulled off a sublime back heeled flick to skin martin Skrtel who shouldnt even have been on the pitch by that time. Milner genuinely looks like the missing piece for us, he just seemed to pull the whole team together with driving runs and the rest of the team seemed to thrive off him. More of the same please Jimmy. Did that to the dippers without the like of Balotelli, Silva, Adebayor, Kolarov and Boateng in the team. Very happy overall considering the team has only been training together properly for two weeks.

Man City - Why hate them/Not a big club
16 million + Ireland. Cheers.

Craig Bellamy
I thought the original question was regarding the players futures? It would be hard for Bobby to judge him from a few matches. In all honesty he looked very solid next to Kompany before his last injury, however in pre season he looked like he had lost even more pace. I would be surprised to see him a regular from now on though.

Craig Bellamy
Its always hard to see a player leave who states he wants to make history and have a stand named after him (Ireland). The problem is Stevie has had one great season and several very average ones. Last season he looked lost and it seemed health scares ruined his confidence on the pitch. Going in and out of the team wont have helped and if he had stayed then it would have more than likely been a repeat of last year. Ireland doesnt deserve that and I want to see him do well. I agree with Mancini on this one, he needs a fresh start, but I dont agree that he should of been kicked to the reserves because he wasnt keen on a move to Villa. Pretty ruthless. Given...Meh. I have been pretty outspoken on Shay but believe me he may make spectacular saves but that is literally all he does. Incredible shot stopper. Awful at everything else. Doesnt command his area, never leaves his line and exposes a defences weaknesses. A newcastle supporter once said to me that, "is it any coincedence that every defence Shay has played behind behind has looked sh*t?" I lost count at the amount of goal we conceded right on our six yard line last season. The scum scored pretty much all of their goals against us last season by hammering crosses at our six yard line, he just never left his line. Joe Hart is just different class and will continue to improve. Lescott just needs to get fit and prove himself to Bobby. Right now he doesnt look right to me.

Craig Bellamy
I wouldnt say annoyed. The divide seems to sit with where loyalties had been with Hughes. A few mates who hated Mark are pleased to see him go as it fits with an agenda of sorts. I personally liked Mark and have to say im disappointed to see Craig go. I really think he could of caused havoc again this season. The media portrayed Craig as the victim this time, that fits with our current profile with the media, big bad City etc... I think it was probably 50/50 between Bobby and Craig but its very easy to slag Craig off and some City fans are towing that party line. Anyone that thinks he wont be missed is very wrong. However seeing Bellers High fiving Redknapp after our game with Spuds last season ruined Craigs persona with alot of our supporters. I would say plenty are unhappy about him going.

Craig Bellamy
I wish Bellers all the best. Delighted he didnt sign for the twitching c**t at the lane. He leaves me with fond memories, always up for it, always in the face of opposition players and referees. Particular highlights were the brace against you, (sorry) and the brace against the rags which obviously didnt work out but did see him slap a plastic at full time. He will tear the Championship to bits. Whenever Bellers leaves a club there has to be a sh*t storm. I cant make sense of what has happened and feel he should have been in the 25, but unfortunately Bobby didnt seem to rate him. Might just play for us again one day but id love to see him happy and finish his career at his boyhood club.

As Cilla Would Say - Surprise Surprise
Bound to be Gerrard. Those rumours at the tail end of last season were everywhere. Personally hope its Rooney, the horrible c**t that he is.

Man City Sign Balotelli
Well we aren't a racist set of fans and I doubt we will try and murder him either. Might be a start in helping him settle.

Man City Sign Balotelli
I've heard he has put in a transfer request already... Of course he would of preferred to stay in his adopted homeland but lets face it, he was given gods abuse whilst playing there. Had the wheel nuts on his car loosened for god sake. There was a clamour for him to remain in Italy when he was called up for the national side. Of course he was going to release a statement as he did. Fair play to him. He will be a beast in this league.

Martin O'Neill Resigns
I will be the first to say it. It's all our fault...
-
Mario Balotelli
Did I post the article? Nope. Did I say we will break even? No. Am I deluding myself? No. I said we will find our way round it. As will you, because you wont be breaking even either. Neither will Ush*ted unless they sell a Ronaldo every season. Sky Sports claimed we had signed Scott Parker last season. They also said we had signed Balotelli. Must be true though.
-
Mario Balotelli
Applauding yourself. Smooth. If we came out and denied every story about us then we may as well just take down our official site and write a list of press releases each day talking about the utter shyte written about us. Neil Ashton has just done the usual tired bollocks of looking at Yaya's wages at Barca, adding the City tax on to it and doubling it to look like we are paying Yaya 110k a week after tax. Its math for the moron. Dont worry about us so much. We will be in the champions league by then. You wont break even though, you can keep deluding yourself but your profile isnt exactly massive outside of England and you arent exactly Madrid or Barca either. If it effects us it will effect you We will just keep on being sh*t and paying astronomical wages though. Dont worry so much about us because we will always be sh*t and ickle City. Be weird when ickle City do catch you up though wont it. Going to clap myself now.
-
Mario Balotelli
Yeh look at the likes of Tevez, Adebayor sprinting away because we didnt get it last season. 220k a week was made up by Neil Ashton in the Sun. Keep peddling the lines you are fed by the media though. You wont be playing Champions league in 2012 either as there is no way you break even. No way that rule will stand, if it does we will find a loop hole.
-
Mario Balotelli
Mancini gave him his big break at Inter and they get on great by all accounts. He will be fine in a place where he isnt racially abused week in week out and have his own fans try and murder him by loosening the wheel nuts on his car.

Man City - Why hate them/Not a big club
We really do have an overblown squad now. Thats come with chopping and changing managers so frequently. However the media have overhyped it a bit and we dont actually need to get rid of a huge number of players. We have a fair few homegrown players under the age of 21. This shameleslly lifted from another poster but pretty much sums it up. Theres 25 players right there and that includes two prospective signings. The players culled are, Wayne Bridge, Nedum Onouha, Jo and Roque Santa Cruz. Michael Johnson can be switched in from January for someone like Vieira. Johno is out until October at the very earliest. We should be fine and dandy I would of thought. I like some of you are getting a bit fed up with supporters hell bent on glory signings. They scream of plastic supporters to me. Like has been previously mentioned, I am waiting to see how we can f**k this up from here but have to say I have been delighted with our signings so far.

Just thought I would pop back on and say a f**k off great congratulations. Unbelievable season, over a hundred goals! You really deserved it. f**k all the negative toss bags trying to play it down with their bitter ramblings. See you around.

Team Bridge
er... i think I did. You see, when I was younger we had to move around a fair bit through my mums work, I wasnt very well as a kid so my dad didnt work alot and looked after me at home, we were pretty inseparable so unless he was sneaking out in the middle of the night despite being with my mum then I very much doubt it. Of what relevance this has I do not know, but mate, revolving something around someone who was very dear to me that I lost at a very young age has made me lose a fair amount of respect for yourself. Thanks. This is a Chelsea forum, I have outstayed my welcome, some of you have been ace on here and always been open for a bit of heated passionate debate. I'll love you and leave you now. Hope you go on to win the league. I genuinely mean that. Good luck.

So why has Terry bought her silence then? Why was Max Clifford hired to sell her story to the highest bidder? As the article says, what is Terry hiding by keeping his mouth shut? All he has done is portray himself as mr untouchable. Mr untouchable was rocking like f**k yesterday when faced with players that can see right through the guy.
-
Team Bridge
Or... Do you not think that he could just about manage to stand Terry before it became public knowledge? Now up and down the country Wayne is taking as much stick from opposition fans as Terry. All this is being played out in the public eye, yet all we have to go on are a few 'planted' stories that Terry may have tried to call him. Terry has shown absolutely no remorse whatsoever so im with Bridge on this. It becomes public, then Terry should try and at least show some kind of remorse for what he has done. the thing is, the guy is living in a f**king cookoo land. His Missus is standing by him for f**k no's what reason, (£££££££) so he keeps her, he is still raking in 150k plus a week, he is still the captain of Chelsea, he has lost nothing bar the captaincy of his country, a small price to pay for being such a massive c**t off the field and your fans are still chanting "one england captain." On the pitch great player, off it, absolute scum. Im sorry, he is your captain I know all that and you support your players which is commendable, some times people like him dont deserve your loyalty. You are right about the fact its become public knowledge has seemingly effected him more, but circumstance changes situations. Bridgey has been taking stick up and down the country because your captain has been knobbing the mother of his kids whilst married. Yeh thats fair.
