I'm with you, United for the title. The scousers can go and get F##ed. I want to see the youngsters get some more starts. I want to see more of Mancienne in the senior shirt and Di Santo. Start Stoch for a couple of games and bring Belletti back as DM. I would also like to see us get Carlton Cole back as he seems to have sorted himself out and is scoring goals for fun. He would be the perfect target man for Anelka to run off. Unfortunately I don't think it is going to happen until next season if at all.

Bring in Zola and Clarke. Looks like Carlton Cole has sorted himself out so get him back as well and partner him with Anelka, put Di Santo on the bench. Next season Joe Cole on the left, Stoch on the right, Lampard and Essien in the middle. The defence is fine, we need a backup keeper. Get rid of all the players Star mentions and blood some youth. We will not be at the top for a few years but those of us who have been around for a while are used to that. The key for me is not buying old established stars and following the Wenger model of finding young up and coming stars, which is what we seem to be doing. The only problem with that is we won't see the benefit for a couple of seasons. All I want to see is the players on the park busting a gut for the club. If they don't, they can fark off!

Good on Burnley, they must have balls of steel and for a few minutes were living the dream. If they do get promoted they are not going to have any fear of playing the big clubs, or Tottenscum! :huh:

The way I see it, they are serving their apprenticeship at a small club in the EPL. When Scolari retires, if they have done well, I am confident they will take over here.

I hope Roman takes them all to the cleaners!

My thoughts exactly. I have already mentioned how I think Scolari is only short term and we should get young passionate managers who bleed blue (Zola and Clarke) in and let them grow in to the role while bringing in young players who also bleed blue.

Even though I didn't see the game, I am going with Kalou.

I did not get to watch the game unfortunately but I followed it on Soccernet Gamecast. Kalou got 1 goal and 2 assists yet I read on a couple of match reports that he did not play well. Were they full of shyte?

Personally, I don't want any more strikers. Get rid if Drogba for sure. Anelka, at the moment, is gold. Kalou has potential as does Di Santo and Sinclair can do the job as well. thats 4 strikers, 2 of which can play wide and 2 in the centre. What I think we do need is some out and out wingers, both left and right. I would have liked to have kept Duff and maybe Wright Phillips but as they are gone we need players who can fill similar roles.

Ok, I have only just found this place and while a regular at the old place, I am out of date on here, so I am not going to read through this entire thread because, well, I am fecking lazy! SO, if I am posting what everyone else has said, my apologies! Looking forward.... Get rid of Scolari. not because he is crap but becuase he is old and will only be here shorttime. I would love it if we could get Zola and Clarke over ehre for next season. They are both young and chelsea through and through. We need to create a dynasty that the fans and the club can relate to. Give them time ti get the team how they want it and to learn. Stand by them no matter what. Get rid of the dead weight and start to invest in our youth. Play Mancienne and Sinclair. Keep blooding Di Santo. Stop buying ageing superstars and get youth then put them through our academy until they bleed chelsea. I don't give a feck if we drop out of the top 4. this is not about the present this is about the future.

I think we need to get rid of him. He is a disruptive influence, constantly moaning to the media ala Gallas. Sure, a lot of it could be a media beatup but generally where there is smoke there is fire. Anelka has been good in Drogbas place and I think Kalou has potential as well. I am hoping Jose gets him over at Inter as that is clearly where he wants to go.
