I disagree Phillip. If the scoure gits win it may ignite their season making them a threat, especially when you consider the exodus of our players to the African Nations Cup. A draw is the best result as it causes each side to lose 2 points. Secretly I am hpoing for a United win, with Rooney getting a red card / injury which sidelines him for 6 months!

Gallas and Poyet would be my picks. Gallas for being a french twat and Poyet for going to Spurs.

My understanding is if the goalie is distracted by the offside player or he impeded the goalies view, then it is deemed to be interfering with play.

He is certainly exciting to watch and without doubt a good replacement for the ageing Drogba. With him, Sturridge and Bonini, the future looks good if we can hang on to them all!

I hope that happens. Keep some experienced players to guide the youth and bring in any other experienced players where necessary. Could this explain why we have so many young players getting first team experience on loan at other clubs?

You're mising my point. I can't care if we go back to how we were 10 years ago, I want players who want to play for the club and the shirt. I don't care if we don't challenge for the title or make the CL. When I talk about the club and the team I want to do it with pride in my voice, which I don't have at the moment. If we do win a title or a trophy, I want it to be down to the club, the trainers and the players that came up through the ranks.

We started going to sh*te the minute we starting buying big name players towards the end of their careers. Ballack, Deco, Shevchenko ets. It seems that we are more keen to get galacticos to get the crowds through the gates than passionate, hard working upcoming stars. As I have said a zillion times, I want players out there who are playing for the shirt and willing to bleed for it. I want the shirt to mean something to the players.

I’m not too impressed with it so far! For the whole of January I have been seething looking at Drogba. I have turned over to February and am looking at Malouda, Mikel and Kalou. Thinking this can’t get too much worse, I flip over to March and have to stare wistfully at Bridge, although at least I can smile as Anelka is there as well. It gets worse. April is Joe Cole, May is Cech and Cudicini and June is Deco and it goes on. The first time I will be able to smile unreservedly while looking at my calendar is October when its Lampard. Knowing my luck, he will have signed for Arsenal by then!! :D

That doesn't look good. He doesnt appear to like to get stuck in. He needs a bit more mongrel.

He's scored 5 goals in the last six games with 4 assists. He is a Chelsea boy and would play with his heart and soul if he got a second chance here. We know what sort of talent he has, it was just wasted by his off field problems. I would rather have him than a player like Messi who will not bleed for the club. As for Parker, I would rather have him than Mikel, but I guess thats just me. While I'm at it, bring back Johnston as well!! :-)
