When every one is fit we have a very strong midfield already with Mikel holding, Essien on the right and Lamps on the left, The only problem I can see is the tip of the diamond. Ireland would be a usefull option as a long term replacement for Lampard, Matic can cover for Mikel. I think the ideal signing for the tip would be Diego, but i doubt juve would sell...

If we could sign Daniele De Rossi that would be a long term solution because Essien would finaly play in his stronger position on a regular basis. He would cost us a fortune though. Lamps----------Essien -------De Rossi-------

for that we should keep them both happy. thats kind of hard when one of them will be a backup most of the time.

I rate Ivan higher than bosingwa because he is very solid defensively, is a great header of the ball and good going forward. Maybe not as good as bossy but still very solid. he has played some awesome matches this season.

and mexes was a proven international player at auxere when roma signed him, while Kakuta vas 17 years old boy and still very much unproven.

just seen the sampdoria-palermo match and I am not too impressed by pazzini. The one player that was very impressive is Cavani. He was everywhere, scored once and was just offside for another.

I fully agree with you about hamsik. But I would still loved us to sign aguero as a "backup" fo Nico and Drogba. I am waching alot of french football for about two seasons mostly Lyons and Bordaux matches. I have been very impresed by Toulalan who is very consistent and brakes up play very good at Lyon, he could play at the holding role. He is CL tied though. That would look like that: --------Drogba---Nico/Kun------ -------------Hamsik------------ --------Lamps------Essien------ ------------Toulalan------------

Hamšik would be alot better option for us. He could play in the CL and he is proven in a stronger league.

WTF are you on about?? We were the better team in slovenia hit the post twice and had lots of chances that we miracly failed to use. arshavin was completley isolatet out there.

I think that long term it would be perfect for us to sign Toulalan from Lyon as he is playing very good for about three seasons at DM.
