I suppose if we signed one new striker it would be justifyable, but I don't think at this point we should be going for 2 new ones. I'd rather we bring one young one in and deveop waht we have. I'm sure Drogba can continue on this level up to the point our ban is completed, so can Anelka. I'd say stick with those 2, and continue to develop some of the kids

It's called having a plan B something Scolari didn't have either in the transfer market or on the pitch. That said I believe this is actually another French report lost in translation. January 6, 201015 yr just seen the sampdoria-palermo match and I am not too impressed by pazzini. The one player that was very impressive is Cavani. He was everywhere, scored once and was just offside for another.

He is an Ancelotti type player somewhat similar in style, but not in the same class as Pato. However. I don't believe he's worth 22 million, perhaps 10 million. But signing him even at that price would be taking quite a risk.
