Imo seeing the likes of Tore, Borini being shipped out will have more of an effect than Sturridge. Sturridge hasnt come through our youth or reserves, he was bought to play in the first team. You say what more can a youngster do than what Sturridge has done? Well what has Sturridge done so far? Dont get me wrong here im not bad mouthing the boy and he did well for a few months at Bolton but apart from having a huge amount of promise he hasnt proved too much just yet imo. Given a chance he may set the world alight but then again he may be another Forsell. Remember he had an amazing loan spell at Birmingham as we was excited to have him back.....and then nothing.

Do we really need a DM? We have a very good back line and a great keeper. Is there really any need for a DM at Chelsea? Pretty much all of our players track back anyway.

Hutch no one has written him off just yet on here from what i have read. People are starting to doubt him but thats a huge difference between writting him off. Also i know its only pre season but who have we played? No bodies!

So because we dont hold total blind faith in Torres we should be ashamed of ourselves? Come on mate! Can you hoenstly say that in all the years of you being a chelsea fan you havent thought "i dont think he will quite cut it here"? We have all thought that about different players over our times as chelsea fans. To be honest it seems the new chelsea fans are the ones who havent thought that. Guy we are getting away from my original point. Sturridge being sold would not worry the youngsters because of the amount of other youth players who have been shipped out recently.

Stoch probably was, Bruma did play for the first team. MM probably could have done a squad player role. Who knows about Tore because he wasnt given the chance. Sinclair was another who when played for us looked promising and was then shipped out. Borini always looked sharpe when he came on for the first team and he was let go.

I really dont want to say i told you so. I want Torres to prove me wrong BUT im not that confident that he will. I fear we have got a modern day Chris Sutton.

AVB says he doesnt worry about Torres scoring but really what manager wouldnt worry about one of his key players not playing well. I would think that AVB is very worried that Torres isnt performing that well.

Do you really think that Sturridge would be the one that the youngsters would look at and think if he has been sold then i have no chance? We sold Stoch, MM, Tore, Cork, Bruma out on a two year loan and thats just only to name a few who have gone in the last two seasons. I really dont think that the selling of Sturridge would worry the youngsters anymore than any of the others who have gone. Saying that i wouldnt like to see Sturridge be sold and i dont think he will. I think AVB wants him to play in the same way as Hulk does for Porto. But after watching Sturridge being interviewed the other days he doesnt seem very happy about playing out on the wing and he doesnt seem the type to just be happy to do what he can for the team like Ivanovic does when he plays at RB.

No one can help Mikel. He is hugely over rated. Since he joined us he hasnt improved as a player. He should be sold asap!

I have the same fear as a few of you. I am not sure if he is adapting well to our team. All i keep hearing is "give him time" but how much time do you give him? He scored one goal in 19 games for us last season or something like that. Do we keep playing him and hoping that he will come good or do we bench him and play Drogba who we all know can score? Its a tough call for AVB.

We paid 50 million for Torres so it wouldnt surprise me.

Maybe AVB has spotted something we are lacking or something that needs to be changed in attack. Problem being is we have too many attackers at the club already really so we need to off load some imo.

We are suppose to be buying two players within the next 7 days. I just thought they would be two kids, i.e the keeper we just bought and maybe Lukaku. If one is indeed Modric then well done Chelsea but i wont get my hopes up just yet.

I think he would be a good buy but as i said in another thread i cant see City selling him to us unless it is for way more than he is worth, like the Torres deal.
