The reason for the loan is to give the player game time, keep him sharpe and to get himt o develope his skills. He may do that at Chelsea but if he isnt playing week in week out then it would be tough to do so. If he went to Bolton for a season then he would get that. Im not saying he will be loaned but i am saying it would not harm him or us if he did. If he was to be loaned i hope that Chelsea put a recall clause in the contract incase we come unstuck.

His first game for us was amazing and the second was pretty good but that was it, since then he has done very little imo.

I wonder if Aguero is not a replacement but a ploy to try and keep Teves. If he has someone he can talk to and socalise with it might make him stay for another season, Not likely coz it doesnt solve the family issuse but just a thought.

I honestly dont think it would do Sturridge any harm to go on loan for a season, espically if we cant off load malouda and anelka. If we cant off load them then we will have Anelka,Malouda,Kalou,Torres,Drogba and sturridge and possibly Kakuta all fighting for 3 places. Thats if we dont bring the likes of Lukaku in. From what i have read, Anelka doesnt plan to go anywhere same goes for Malouda.

The only other option is to do what we did with the likes of Veron, Crespo and Sheva, lone them out until their contract runs out.

I think im the only one on here that doesnt rate Kakuta at all.

If city said to these guys you will not be involved this season here so leave or just play for the reserves, one or two might stay but i would think that most will try and find a new club. The likes or SWP and Bridge would go else where i would think.

The fact is Sturridge did very well for a few months, it wouldnt hurt him or us to send him on a season long loan to someone like Bolton again where he would play week in and week out. He wont get that at Chelsea unless someone like Anelka or Malouda leaves. Imo i doubt he would ask to leave if we sent him out for the season with the view to bring him back next season in replace or Anelka who will be out of contract.

City have about 10 players that they could/should get rid of. That alone will clear up loads of wages. Bellemy.Ade,Bridge,SWP just to name a few will all be sold or let go imo.

I could see Sturridge being loaned out for a season, Anelka is out of contract next season and i think Drobga has one or two seasons left on his, I cant see Anelka getting an extension unless he does something amazing this season and lets be honest its Anelka so that aint gonna happen.

Anelka? Malouda? Could even be Drogba if the right offer came in i would think. I think the only one who you can bet your bottom dollar on staying is Torres.

I complain about Kalou alot but i would keep him over Anelka. As i have said before i think Kalou linked up better with Torres better than any other forward at our club. Also last season for a while he had one of the best goal to game time records in the prem. I totally agree he wastes more than he scores but i dont think i would let him go just yet.

Have we actually bought him? I thought we was in talks but they broke down because they didnt want him loaned to a rival club or something like that.

I would be shocked if we signed him to be honest, i really do think he is City bound.

Didnt they only play together for 6 months or was 1 season. It was hardly enough time to build a strong bond. Its not like they play on the same national team or anything.

Yes you could do, i would keep them both tho, Paulo covers both the RB and LB position and i sense from the pre season games already played the Yuri is going to be given a proper chance this season. I would rather see Anelka and Malouda shown the door and Sturridge and Kalou given more game time. I know Kalou is unbelievable frustrating but imo he linked up well with Torres last season, better than any other of our forwards.

Sell Anelka and Malouda to free up some space, dont register Essien, bring in parker. There are some solutions for a start.

Im sure deals could be done with out Roman being in the country. How ever i dont think they will be done until the squad get back from Asia. I think AVB wants to give everyone a fair chance before he desides who is to be axed.

Anelka really slows it all down, he runs towards defenders and when they stand in his way he stops and then passes back wards.

I agree thats why i think a season long loan with the option to recall would be best for the lad.
