Do u not find it odd that its a two year loan instead of a one year deal? If Chelsea are planning to bring him back next summer then why loan him for two years with an option to take back?

I believe he is now on a two year loan with Hamburg and after they loan i think they can sign him full time, im not sure if his contract runs out in two years or not. If we had plans for him then why send him out for two years? If we had plans for him why didnt we take him on pre season before sending him out on loan? I just dont think he will play for us again.

DD didnt start playing at a decent level till his early 20's so according to some pros that should allow him to play at a higher level for longer than most. If he keeps banging in the goals and is happy to not play week in and week out then why not keep him till he is ready to retire?

You say they took the piss but if he was good enough then surely they would have played him, they paid for him to be there with a loan fee and his wages and lets be honest they need all the help they can get.

Yeah i could take that into it but so many players go through worse and still put a shift in. Take Terry, Cole, even Dennis Wise, they all went through tough times and their performances didnt drop.
