After getting in Ancelotti as manger and now signing Yossi it is quite clear that Roman plans to be the one choosing the team, who comes in and who leaves. Ancelotti had no say at Milan and it seems by the signing of Yossi he doesnt here either. I just hope Roman knows what he is doing but by letting Joe Cole go and bringing in Yossi imo he doesnt. Fingers crossed it doesnt turn out to be another Deco situation.

I think the need for players depends on what system Ancelotti is going to want to play next season. I have a horrible feeling he will want to try the diamond again.

His price will be through the roof anyway. I think Milan will want the same kind of money they got for Kaka, maybe more due to his age. I dont think he is worth the money it would take to bring him to chelsea.

I have said it for a while now, I think Ancelotti is lazy. He gets the tatics right for the big games but doesnt seem to bother for the rest of the games, i feel that he just expects us to win. In italy he may have got away with that but in the prem you cant afford not to be prepard.

I dont see Liverpool rolling over for us. Infact after the spurs game i can see us throwing the title away at Anfield.

I heard Cole is a couple of weeks away, not sure about Ivan or Essien. I really thought we would have seen Essien by now.

At 10 million it would be a good bit of business. He cant be happy at Madrid not playing so i wouldnt be suprised if something did happy. The only concern for me is if we got him would we go back to the dreaded diamond?

How long do you give him? Do we do a liverpool and arsenal and not win anything for a few years because we are hoping that things will work out?

I disagree, Hiddink almost got us to the CL final with pretty much the same team only last year. Most of the players we have can still do a great job, its only one or two that are dead wood. The only reason is the manager. IMO the players do not seem to have a game plan. After the Inter game a number of the players talked about Inter not letting them play their game. So where was Ancelotti to change the game plan? Surely if plan A isnt working then u move on to plan B or C if needed. Much like big Phil, Ancelotti has no plan B imo. I think confidence is also effecting the team much like when Phil was in charge. Everything was great when we was steam rolling teams but then when things got a bit rocky and the players turned to the manager to work something out and they came back empty handed. I think the same is happening now. Now i dont want to go on about Jose too much but i want to use him as an example, during the games he is always standing up giving comands and only sits down when he is happy with the play. Yesterday when blackburn scored Ancelotti stood there with his hands in his pockets and shurgged his shoulders. How are the players going to feel if they look over to the bench and see the manager shrugging his shoulders. I think the players like Ancelotti but the dont fear him. He reminds me very much of Avram Grant.

I personally think Ancelotti should be sacked at the end of the season BUT i dont think he will be because the board will be afraid of being laughed at for sacking yet another manager. The problem we have is do we keep a manager who imo just cant cut it in the prem and not be mocked by the media or do we start again and take the heat? I for one am use to all the crap being written about us in the press so i would be more than happy for Ancelotti to go. Also its not just Ancelotti, Ray needs to go also as does the head scout (cant remember his name) he is useless.

Recently in my opinion things have gone down hill for us. Certain players seem disheartend or not interested others appear not ready for the games. It may just be a small dip but it is a dip at the time of season that we really cant afford to be in a loss of form. Recently it has reminded me of last season when Big Phil was running out of ideas and the players looked lost at times. I for one am not a fan of Ancelotti, I think he is over rated but as a Chelsea fan i was willing to give him a chance. I know people will say "we are top of the league" BUT i think we are only there because united have been so poor this season and liverpool have been a joke and arsenal have been..... well arsenal. I think if he still had Jose in charge or even Hiddink then we would be 10 points in front right now, not just 1. Am i the only one who is a little concerned about the run in to the end of the season?

Does anyone know when he should be back? Cant be long now. I think we really are missing him.

People said that Ronaldo was just a show pony and then turned out to be one of the worlds best players. I say if this guy is the guy that the management team want and think it will add something to the team then give him a chance. People are talking about his size but Zola was hardly big was he. It makes a change that we are linked with young tallent instead of 30+ year olds like we have the last couple of transefer windows.

Thank god for that. Lets just hope that Roman is willing to splash some cash in the summer.

And what makes you think that? In previous cases there have been a ban of 1 transfer window. imo it has been a huge mistake not signing anyone in January and one that could cost us in the future!

I think the dream is well and truely over! I think we will be banned from signing anyone in the summer and he will go to Madrid or even City.

I dont think United will get him coz i think he would take space away from Rooney, unless they are planning to sell Rooney in the summer. How ever i cant see us signing him anymore. I think the ship has sailed. I think he will leave in the summer after the world cup.

I agree, i cant see anyone coming in. I just hope that the club can get the banned over turned other wise i can see us being in a spot of bother.
