Is it just me or does this have LFS the 2nd written all over it. Doesnt know the league at all, Hasnt won a league for 5 years. Wants to bring in more over 30 year old players (deco for LFS and Pirlo for Carlo) instead of bringing the age of the squad down. To be honest i dont have much faith in this appointment. And to give him a 3 year contract is crazy, i am willing to bet that we will be paying out another huge pay out when he is sacked.

Chelsea would be insane to allow this to happen. It would be like selling JT and getting in Titus Bramble to replace him. I just prey the whole Ancelotti deal is just his agent trying to get him a new deal at AC. If he does take over at the bridge then it will be another wasted season imo. I wouldnt say no to him coming in. He is better than Sheva, Pizzaro, Anelka and Kalou. Also i dont think he would cost all that much as he only has 1 year left on his contract. To get someone David Villa in would cost us 40 plus million and it doesnt seem like roman wants to put much more money into the club so i cant see that happening

I dont think you could play that free following football in the prem and win cups. Look at Arsenal this season with teams like Hull and Stoke.

I dont really rate Mikel, He has done well this season at times but i still dont trust him to give extra protection to the back 4 like maka did and like essien can. I would have rather kept Lassana than Mikel.

I really hope that he doesnt take over. If Chelsea are really looking for a manager for the long term then get someone like David Moyes or Martin O'Neil. They both already know the prem and have over achieved with their teams imo.
