I watched the champions league build up to the game last night on croatian TV and he was the guest. Someone asked him if any of the rumours about Chelsea is true, he said that he will think about leaving their national team after the match against ukraine (in june) and check his options. I would love it if he would come. Hiddink is my first choice but we can not wait for him to december.

There are some rumours about it on goal.com:

Another Scolari. I would even take Scolari back before wanting Bilic as our new coach.

Together with Scolari no domestic experience and i dont like the type eighter.

I dont think he has what it takes to take over. What has he won? Not exactly proven is he! I would rather have Moyes than him.

Let him go to West Ham and get their management duo

So we want players that have never won anything because they're hungry but don't want a manager that hasn't won anything (unless he's ex-Chelsea) because he's unproven!!!!

Wouldn't be a bad shout for me. Unproven and it might fail miserably, but I'd much rather see someone young and with knowledge of the English game than someone like Ancelloti.

Getting an unproven manager is a much higher risk than getting an unproven player, a player can be coached but who will coach a manager?

p.s. not that I am dead against it, but why is bilic as popular as he is? okay he seems cool (if you think holding a cigarette like a spliff and wearing an earing are cool things rather than crap student cliches) and is young, but what does he have on his cv that is so impressive? qualified ahead of a rubbish england side for the euros, never managed a club (I think), never managed outside his own country, got knocked out by one of the less talented turkish sides in the euros. christ imagine if he had eriksson's record! would probably be seen as mourinho, clough and gullit rolled into one!

this.... ::clap2::

Fair enough. Never worked with any club at all, never worked in England.

Being lucky could get one bright season, but too unexpirienced to become a long-term one.

Do we want it?

Look at Laudrup and his Getafe, where's he now? Thrown out from Spartak after first five games.

Moyes or Sparky are better choices for me. JM is always welcomed too.

How about Hiddink with no advisors? :)

He works alone...

 that sounds like the start to a movie to me.

GUUS, HE NEEDS NO ADVISORS.............HE WORKS ALONE!!!!! dah dah dah dun dun dun...

More like a movie trailer.

In a booming voice: "In football, you must fight to survive. He needs no advisors, he works alone. One man, one desire! He is...GUUS!"

Haha, I honestly don't think guus will stay. I would like to see Frank Rijkard at the bridge, It looks increasingly likley that it will be ancelotti though...

Why Rijkaard? You don't see many Chelsea fans that would want him at Stamford Bridge, so I'm interested to hear why you think he'd be better than Ancelotti. I'm not saying I'd want Ancelotti, mind you, but I wouldn't want Rijkaard either. :)

I was a big admirer of Rijkaard's Barcelona. Great attacking football, easy on the eye. I'd love chelsea to adopt a similar style.

I've got nothing against Ancelotti but just think I personally prefer Frank.

With all those flair players we have... ;)

I dont think you could play that free following football in the prem and win cups. Look at Arsenal this season with teams like Hull and Stoke.

potentially, but united still play attractive football, the difference is that they are built upon a decent defense. It is interesting to think where Barca would end up if they were in the premiership???

I'd say they would not be as consistent as they would not be used to playing strong physical teams who are not afraid to ruffle a few feathers.. my prediction would be 3rd.

We have got some very good plyers technically but you have to strike a balance between flowing football and defensive strenght something which guus has done very well which scolari could not. Rijkaard is just another LFS. You score one we score one football doesn't work in the Premier League
