About time i did this , was meaning to do it years ago so now im finally getting my Chelsea tattoo.

Could go for the usual Chelsea crest , logo etc etc , just looking for a few ideas as options if anybody wants to throw anything into the hat.

I always intended to get the old Chelsea crest on one upper arm, with the Rangers crest on the other, but somehow never got around to it. For some reason I can't picture you being happy with a Gers tattoo, so maybe choose something else for that arm :D

I'd definitely avoid getting any pics of favourite players, they rarely end up looking anything near realistic.

In summary, a Chelsea tattoo on each arm would look super cool, and would obviously benefit from being enhanced with a large "WE HATE TOTTENHAM" on the forehead, and "ALL SCOUSERS ARE C*NTS" across the shoulder blades. I look forward to seeing the pics! :D

If i was to get a tattoo of a Scottish club it would have to be Clydebank , my dad was a fan , well kinda.

Like the idea of the scousers tattoo, would look great alongside my Derek Hatton was a c**t tattoo.

Great idea CH, ignore the objections. Tattoos are only a bad idea when they're done on impulse, and clearly this one won't be, as you've been thinking about it for a while.

Design wise, perhaps the entire stadium covering your back? (joke, sort of)

Or, if you're looking for something a bit less extreme, I always think type (ie written) tattoos look pretty cool and are a bit different to the usual crest (which can look crap if not done by someone really accomplished).

Maybe just 'blue is the colour' which is a bit cryptic to those who don't know a lot about the club, but a classic Chels line?

Ian i have two chelsea tattoos one on my arm one on my leg dont get one thats visable to others because the one on my arm gets me alot of hassel if im wearing 2 t shirt out on the town. but its your body do what u want with it

Only if done by an average tattoo artist. There are artists out there who can make it extremely life like.

Just be prepared to spend alot of money. The cheap tattooists are generally sh*t but the ones that are expensive and always busy are normally brilliant. Its going to last a lifetime so your bound to get your moneys worth out of it.

I have a Chelsea tattoo myself on the inside of my right forearm.

I don't like big tattoo's. The one's that are absolutely huge and cover every section of your arm/back/leg or whatever. I don't mind little one's, or lyrics tattoo'd somewhere though.

Maybe something along the lines of...

"Come Back Lofty All Is Forgiven"

i have to say that zola one from the second link is actually quite good! i personally would be proud to have the lion motif on my shoulder, no text or circle around it for the understated look.

i was thinking about a skull and crossbones flag on the other shoulder as a tribute to hastings (my local town) but thats too similar to a headhunter tat which i would never ever dream of...

im thinking about getting something written too.

maybe something like "keep the blue flag flying high", something like that :unsure:

I feel like "Blue is the color" is simple and subtle enough...that could be a nice option.

Dare I resurrect this 2 year old thread? I'm looking for a Chelsea tattoo idea. I've been thinking about it for ages (and I have 3 other non-football tattoos.) I want to do something subtle, not an obvious team reference/logo. Perhaps "Carefree"? I'd love some input from anyone with opinions on getting CFC tattoos.

My objection is to all tattoos, although I wouldn't go as far as doing a full-body inspection before I befriend a person :)
