I was planning to head over from Cleveland/Columbus as The Crew play Chicago the same weekend and The Crew should be bringing some support.............but unfortunately money and other obligations didn't quite work....it would have made a nice weekend. :angry:

Yeah, best club in the world is a pretty bold statement. But anyways, I sort of agree that I have no real strong feelings about his departure. He is still a quality player but not quite the same as previous years imo.

It runs quite nice on mac...watch at work all the time haha. Although I am in the states so its nice that they seem to do a "simulcast" of the actual chelsea tv channel on sky, with the programming like blues new, the historical stuff, etc. Plus it seems that the US subscribers will be able to view the preseason matches if I understand it correctly.

I feel he is one of those players that is really only noticed when not on the pitch, aka a little something will be lacking. He just adds that bit of stability in mid that, imo is vital...I'd like to see him back.

Yea, I can really understand Bradley's decision not to include Davies. I mean, he hasn't seen a match in how long...you just can't send him into WC matches like that. Plus, chances are good, no matter what he says he is not totally fit. As for the letter, as mentioned above it certainly could have been challenged and I want to give Sochaux the benefit of the doubt as they have a vested interest in him as well...it would have served them well to have Davies showcased on the world stage.

I mean c'mon a good season is a good season...it's called being gracious in defeat and acknowledging good football...and it's not like manure has been short of success in recent seasons. Ugh. Yea I saw that, unfortunately my mate and I already had our train tickets since we found some for cheap in advance so we are still heading up. Figure we will just catch the replay in a pub with some proper atmosphere (Annie Millers or The District have been recommended?) and just go take a look at Ibrox during day. For what its worth we had tickets right next to the Blue Order so I was looking forward to a good time, oh well.

He is one of those players that just gets under my skin every single time I see him play. Not saying he is not skilled, just a very dislikable prick.
