Barry Bridges Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 Apparently Rafa has been sacked! :D http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Liver...icle446441.html
Barry Bridges Posted June 2, 2010 Author Posted June 2, 2010 (edited) Daily Mail reporting he will only get a 3m compensation package...he should have to compensate LFC IMO! hahaha http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...3m-pay-off.html Edited June 2, 2010 by Barry Bridges
geezer Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 Not confirmed as yet. Negotiations are underway right now to try and agree a final package
Barry Bridges Posted June 2, 2010 Author Posted June 2, 2010 should we start a pool to see which club is stupid enough to hire him...... and how long until rafa screws them up? I never liked the guy. Reminds me of a shady politician, not a football manager.
sals Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 Damn that sucks.I hope they don't go in for Jose! i expect jose is a bit busy managing real madrid. Saw their likely targets are going to be hogdson, martin o neil and lucky goose.
Barry Bridges Posted June 2, 2010 Author Posted June 2, 2010 (edited) I hope not Guus!!!!!! I think ONiel will stick it at AV as they are stronger than LFC atm IMO....Hogdson who knows! If I was a LFC board member I'd be tempted to try and tap up Moyes! :D Edited June 2, 2010 by Barry Bridges
wicksy Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 should we start a pool to see which club is stupid enough to hire him...... and how long until rafa screws them up?I never liked the guy. Reminds me of a shady politician, not a football manager. I never liked the guy either, but that doesn't matter. He has been doing a fantastic job as Liverpool manager and as far as I'm concerned he should stay there forever...
qood Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 the Yankee duo are writing a new chapter in the HISTORY of Liverpool FC! shear brilliance! take yourrrr time mates!
The Moos Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 should we start a pool to see which club is stupid enough to hire him...... and how long until rafa screws them up?I never liked the guy. Reminds me of a shady politician, not a football manager. Well there are rumours that he'll take over Inter. From José to Rafa. The Inter supporters can't be pleased with that :D
Backbiter Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 I never liked the guy either, but that doesn't matter. He has been doing a fantastic job as Liverpool manager and as far as I'm concerned he should stay there forever... Agree 100%. Gutted at this news.
SydneyChelsea Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 So i'm the only one that rates him as a manager then? :/ If Torres and Gerrard weren't injured for the vast majority of this season we may have seen some very different results.
lauren Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 I wonder if Christian Gross who managed Spurtz is available?
TheWestwayWonder Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :( I dont believe it, and I wont until a press conference is called. The guy is being paid a little sweetener to walk away from perhaps a much bigger amount if he gets sacked. I refuse to believe Rafa is honorable enough to do that Hopefully this is just the start of a messy back and forth that f**ks up History FC even further. But if it really is the end, i'm glad to see his reign end so ignominiously. Remember when the scousers used to tell us he was better than Jose? Ahhhhahahahaha
bluegraham Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 So i'm the only one that rates him as a manager then? :/If Torres and Gerrard weren't injured for the vast majority of this season we may have seen some very different results. i hope ur taking the piss lol we wat you to stay,we want you to stay rafa bemitez we want u to stay
mad_mac Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Rafa to Inter...interesting move, but I'm starting to wonder who Liverpool will hire to replace him...Bruce Arena?
undertow Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Rafa to Inter...interesting move, but I'm starting to wonder who Liverpool will hire to replace him...Bruce Arena? hopefully souness.
rahul Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Paul Ince would be a good choice for them I guess. Absolutely gutted if Rafa leaves.
Gem Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Aw no :( Rahul - YES! Paul Ince!! Fabulous suggestion... I'm feeling less depressed about it already
Castiel Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Torres, Gerrard and Mascherano off then? I wonder what the bet is on Liverpool relegation next season.
bonetti Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 So i'm the only one that rates him as a manager then? :/If Torres and Gerrard weren't injured for the vast majority of this season we may have seen some very different results. A good manager would have provided for injury to key players
bennyboy1976 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Redandwhitekop going mental. They are even mentioning Avram Grant as the next manager!!!
Castiel Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Yeah RAWK is in absolute meltdown, I've been laughing at it all morning. Right now i'm quite prepared to storm into Anfield and trash the boardroom. Take the club back by force if necessary. As far as realistic expectations go I expect a top 4 finish. I believe this season was the exception, not the rule. Last summer was disappointing, the majority of our squad had some type of tournament to be involved in, pre-season was dire and it just looked like nothing ever got settled. renewed expectations: finish above newcastle England's finest footballing institution turned into debts, lies, greed, betrayals, uncertainty, and turmoil. Warning pretty bad language: Anyone up for a sit-in, say at Standard Chartered HQ?Let's really f**k the c*nts up. Let's really nail the c*nts - let's cause absolute chaos, say day of the 1st England Game. There needs to be threats to all outlets, that if the owners are not out by the 12th June - we will cause chaos, Here and in South Africa. The football establishment are about to get their big f**king wake-up call. Supporters Unite. "The day the football died...Rafa was all that was left of Liverpool as an entity after the US imperialist invasion. Rafa has seemingly given everything to this club, while he gets f**ked over, pretty much like our fans. It is an absolute desperate state of affairs, I struggle to understand the logic behind this, whilst I can guess what those orrible bar stewards are thinking yet again they have completely misjudged the situation...The club needs stability and this is yet another destabilising action, we are in f**king freefall...I am f**king distraught at this situation Goodnight sweet prince" Its amazing how deluded they are. I wouldn't believe they were serious unless I read it for myself. :laugh2:
SydneyChelsea Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Yep, attacking your club's major sponsor which probably has little idea of politics and serves to just put $$$ in the coffers sounds like a brilliant idea.
