  1. I agree, I feel like its a running theme when we score the first all too often we feel like we can let up, and against teams like city we simply can't. Not to mention most of the team having pathetic performances...and Hilario...wow. Not happy.
  2. Yea I saw that get posted maybe 30min after I read this post haha. Oh well, at least I'm i the clear points wise :scarfcfc:
  3. I agree, I was just coming on here to check if I was just missing seeing the points someplace else on the site...apparently not at the moment.
  4. Cheers, thanks for the advice. I'm looking quiet forward to it!
  5. I'm looking to head up to Glasgow to catch the Aberdeen match next month with a mate of mine. I have never been to Ibrox before and wanted some recommendations as to which stand the ones who have made the trip might recommend. I sit in MH lower at The Bridge so I guess I am looking for a bit of atmosphere (singing etc.) Cheers.
  6. Yea, I'm not really sure about the booing at the end...I didn't hear any either. As you say half time, yes, end, no. As for the issue I really sort of assume it was more of a general frustration built up after the last 3 matches and everyone really looking for a win after some questionable performances in some respects and the goal maybe 30 seconds or so before half just fueled that frustration. Like many here I groaned and swore...then got a pint.
  7. What a joke that is now.
  8. I agree that conversations always revert back to his "diving", it is really starting to get to me, especially because IMO he is much better about it this season than some previous years. As for his striking ability, easily one of the best in the world, no questions asked.
  9. What Andy said...not good at all.
  10. I don't even wear mine anymore on match days, just stick with my old chelsea blue everytime now...I'm too superstitious/paranoid haha ...but clearly it hasn't solved anything after saturday :scarfcfc:
  11. Oh great, I will defiantly let you know Dan, I'm in Strongsville. And the City match was certainly a disappointment, I was there and it was real rough watching that loss...here's hoping we can pick things up mid-week for Apoel but much more importantly Everton on Sat. :scarfcfc:
  12. It was a good laugh yesterday when they announced over the PA that the attendance last night was a record high... You're only here for the Chelsea, You're only here for the Chelllllsea...
  13. He certainly gets worse rep. then he really deserves...at times (just fyi, not referring to anything on these forums at all) people make it sound like he was truly some sort of monster.
  14. I saw that the other day and did quite enjoy it for a bit of a laugh...but I will admit I was kind of surprised that it was in fact on the club's site. I was sort of under the impression that it was part of a feed from a blogger or something? (not too sure)...but not like an "official" announcement type deal. Either way, a good read from a supporters perspective IMO.
  15. Hey Dan, I couldn't help but notice you are from Cleveland (west or east side if you don't mind me asking)? I am too...although I live in Columbus much of the year for uni. (ever make it down for Crew matches?) Currently I am living in Manchester (and travel wherever The Chels is every week...Blackburn tomorrow) but when I get back in the new year we might want to possibly try to meet up to watch some matches yea? ...I'm not sure about the whole Liverpool thing, but I suppose it's forgivable...eventually haha.
  16. I also wanted to give a HUGE thank you to Angus. I happened, by coincidence, to run into him without knowing it at first and he took me to a great, and friendly Atletico bar. He was great conversation and a wonderful help. Thanks again for making Madrid quiet i memorable time!
  17. I feel like "Blue is the color" is simple and subtle enough...that could be a nice option.
  18. I agree, that one is absolutely fantastic! Wallpaper worthy.
  19. I agree, I feel like his behavior, while improved this year IMO, is at least easier to stomach now that he clearly has his game to back it all up.
  20. unfortunately I cannot suggest anything for the car situation...I am catching a train from Manchester. As for the pub, after browsing over at another forum it sounds like Chelsea supporters in general hang out at a pub called The Red Robin...apparently it is a 2 min walk behind the away end...I will probably be around there, although I am feeling a bit like sh*t right now so my drinking my be at a minimum. :(
  21. Oh yea I know what you mean. I have been traveling for the past 30 days before university started and have been all over the place...was even able to go to Chelsea v Burnley and since I happened to be in town as monacco v psg, and also a tour of camp nou...good travels so far, and I'll be heading to Chelsea away at Wigan as well.
  22. Hey there, I just wanted to introduce myself and possibly get a piece of advice or two. My name is Matt and am from Ohio but currently am living in Manchester, UK to attend university for a bit...I have just recently arrived and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions about specific pubs to watch The Chels with other supporters (if there are any others in the city haha)...rather than being surrounded with Man U and City supporters ,for the games that I cannot make it to the bridge. Thanks!
