  1. Mr. Ashley Cole gets the nod from me
  2. Because the majority sucked at picking the correct score
  3. Horse placenta majiks!! He'll play!
  4. Just for conversation and for clarification, in your opinion Joe Cole not close to brilliance in his return to football this year. Correct? As for the second part I like the idea of putting in Essien and having him shadow Fabregas, Mikel would be a good addition if it is our plan to physically outmatch Arsenal. Do we then leave out Ballack? ----Cole/Malouda---- Lampard------- Essien --------Mikel?--------- I have the feeling this won't be the midfield to play against Arsenal but I do like the looks and match up possibilities of it on paper, or text, or whatever... It does also leave us a good bench if things go awry
  5. It helps to scare people when you're one of the ugliest people in football
  6. Gallas out for Sunday with a swollen eye apparently.
  7. It was right around match 14 last year that things went from first to third in a matter of weeks, these next two matches will be important in solidifying our hold on first place. With Lampard back I'm not feeling too much concern but a couple of wins here would instill a TON of confidence for the year.
  8. Drogba always finds a way to score against the Arse, if he's fully healthy (which I am concerned about) he'll find a way to hurt them. And yes I'm definitely starting Joey Cole over Malouda right now, Malouda was great in last nights game but he's been inconsistent and Joey has shown that he plays well at the top of the diamond. He may have had a slight hiccup against Manchester but has otherwise looked brilliant he can only get better as he gains more playing time and I think that Joey will find a better way to cut up Arsenal's defence then he did against the Mancs.
  9. Apparently Lampard received the placenta treatment, lol. Whatever though, if he's fit I'm glad
  10. Malouda really carried the team on his shoulders today
  11. Onwards and forwards my friends Malouda and Chelsea have carried the day!!!
  12. Hey if we can turn one or even two of these youngsters into stars in Chelsea I would consider that a success, it would also go a long way into reducing transfer costs and more obviously reducing the age of our starting XI.
  13. I'd more then advocate for video review, we've had it here in North America for some time now. Despite some grumbling going in its now in every major league and everyone is all the better for it.
  14. I wonder if the hypothetical signing and then loaning of Aguero back to Atletico could have the possibilities of upsetting the peaceable Drogba Anelka alliance? Anelka thus far has shown that he is willing to be a team player and has gone above and beyond the call of duty but would signing a young 22 year old not signal to Anelka that there will be no room for him next year? Might this perturb him a little and possibly cause him to lose some of his enthusiasm for the year and the team? I dunno food for thought...
  15. I for one am glad they are out! I'm not too concerned about Guus going to the dark side and now we've been spared the inevitable splooge fest that would have been plastered all over the media about Liverpool for another week (or more). I would rather watch a pity fest over that other drivel any day...
  16. My guess is he'll start on the bench and would only come in the latter stages of the game if he has to, otherwise he'll be saved for the Arsenal match.
  17. Drogba, Ballack, and Deco have all made the trip to Porto
  18. Too many here to really pick 3, Donnie Darko, Let the Right One In, Children of Men, City of God, Amore Perros, There Will be Blood, Amelie, and Pan's Labyrinth seem to be the standouts for me.
  19. I thought we'd put this Ribery nonsense behind us...
  20. Spurs, shelling the sh*te, but can't win the games that matter...kinda like Arsenal
  21. Well I don't know if the press will bury their head in the sand on this one, considering the historic uproar that has been made over Kakuta it has seemed already that the media is following him closely. I don't expect that to change really...
