Granticus
I hope that he gets a bit of game time, even if it's just ten minutes at the end. After everything that he's had to endure this season, he deserves it. Edited November 20, 2009 by Granticus
geezer
Bring him on even if it's only to stick two fingers up at UEFA
MHedges
What better way to stick it to UEFA by Kakuta turning into a legend!
Nibs
This is fantastic news. don't want to over-hype the lad but from now on, he should be in the first team squad as much as possible. Fingers crossed the starting 11 can get us in a comfortable position so by the second half Ancellotti is able to bring on both Kakuta and Borini. How great would it be to see him come on and score?!!!

mad_mac
Or best yet, Borini to scored from a brilliant piece of Kakuta setting up the assist

le Bison
my 1st post! i would be extremely surprised if those at the bridge didnt cheer their loudest if/when GK comes on, they may even start up a "KUUUUUUUU" (which could add to some confusion if we sign KUN aguero in 2 months, and kalou too!) for kakuta. i read that Carlo said that when that transfer sh^t hit the fan, GK was in japan w/ the french natl youth team, and that , initially, GK took it pretty hard, but has bounced back well from it. im one who finds it necessary to find a positive frrom any situation, even one thats bad on the surface. if what ive heard about GK's character are true, then this will be an extremely good learning experience for him, and he'll learn how to use that energy as a catalyst to drive him. some1 also mentioned earlier the press conf Carlo had, saying that indeed drogs, ballack, lamps and deco are all out for sure, but he didnt say anything about JT, so hopefully he's in... not that im worried about the wolves attack. hes just in my fantasy team! sals
Carlo talked about kakuta in an interview today and sounds like we may have a real gem of a player here http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...ansfer-ban.html some absolutely glowing praise and there is nothing i would rather see more than him rip a long one against wolves today

Ruh Buh Juh
Awesome first impression. Makes you think, one of the most promising youngster since JT comes along, and gets a ban?! Coincidence?

As we used to sing (almost): You can't ban a Chelsea man! EDIT: Maybe we didn't sing that, but we had it on shirts and badges. superdan
All 3 youngsters looked superb - matic was superb, looked a similar build to ballack and kakuta brought the stadium alive!
Gem
I too was impressed with Matic, thought he looked really composed and strong on the ball. But the man of this thread - Kakuta, looked a bit good didn't he?
The Blue Train
Looked brilliant indeed. What got me thinking though, what is his natural position? Left winger? Or would he play tip of the diamond in Carlo's lineup?
Alex
hopefully he will get more chances in the first team. would be a good opition to have him on the bench for games as a wildcard
