Good draw for us, should do well enough to move onto the final 8

5 years with Carlo!
For reasons I can no longer remember I was a little unhappy when Ancelotti came in. Now that I've seen what he's done and how the team has played beneath him I would be happy to have him here for some length of time. This team needs some stability it initially it appears that he's the man to provide that stability. As others have said its unfortunate and unbelievable how long since we've had a stable manager.

Chelsea vs QPR (League Cup) 23/09/09 (1945 KO)
Ya I had wondered the same thing, I was pretty sure Ancellotti said something about Zhirkov starting in this game, maybe not...

Chelsea vs Spurs (Premiership - Home 20/09/09 1600 KO)
Meh I think Redknapp is just trying to wind the Chelsea fans up, it's what managers do. I don't really get the point of it in this case as it surely won't be doing himself or his side any favours but...

Chelsea vs Spurs (Premiership - Home 20/09/09 1600 KO)
So I work in a British pub here in Canada, there are quite a few ex-pats who work and go there, anyways me and a lady who comes from North London have been hyping this match up for sometime as I am the only Chelsea fan there and she the only Spurs fan. Needless to say I can't wait to rub this one in 'er face...

And now the hard work begins.
Call me a bit of a Homer but I think these next 3 or 4 games are very winnable, the Spurs didn't look well against tougher competition, and Liverpool have been struggling at every level of play in both the EPL and CL. If we win those it means our whole October is relatively easy through 6 matches until our match against Man U in November. While the level of competition does increase now slightly it wouldn't be completely surprising to go 11-0 to start the season IF Chelsea can revert back to the play that got us through the first 4 or 5 games.

Bye Bye Kenyon
Wow! The writing was kind of on the wall for this one but it didn't seem like it would ever actually happen

Chelsea vs Spurs (Premiership - Home 20/09/09 1600 KO)
I'm a little perturbed going into this match as we seem to have lost our rythym a little but I think we show up on match day
-
Chelsea vs Porto (Champs League - Home 15/09/09 1945 KO)
Well we know for sure that Sturridge will play every Carling match for us and very likely the early FA cup matches as well. So we can guarantee him some time there, and I don't think it's a stretch that if he performs well there he should receive some more Premier League time after Liverpool and possibly in the match after Tottenham this September

Chelsea vs Porto (Champs League - Home 15/09/09 1945 KO)
Those Porto away kits are atrocious

UEFA stick by incompetent Ovrebo
I'm actually curious to watch the match, there will be quite a few more alarm bells if he runs the match well, if however there is a poor display in the calls then I would be less likely to spin off any conspiracies on Ovrebo. Other then the fact that then UEFA would know he was a complete twat and put him in that match against us somewhat on purpose.

No offence mate but he comes across as a right douche bag and it's all downhill from there, I understand your allegiance to him perhaps. But as for me there is none...
