Same here, and it's definitely not going to happen.

I expect the squad to play as hard as they can for the rest of the season. I expect Carlo to get them focused on the task at hand and make the best adjustments that he can. Then I guess we will see where the chips fall. If those two things happen, I think we will be rewarded for the hard work that's put in. I hope we can finish top 3 and would love to see us win the CL. I'll be happy with whatever place we land on the table if the team gives 100%.

I didn't get to see the game. I did follow the second half from phone updates, but they certainly don't tell the story. I did spend some time reading these posts and obviously gutted, again, at the result. There's a lot of screaming for Carlo to make changes. I'd like to ask all of you, what changes should he make? This squad is no where as deep as it was last year, or the year before, or the year before that. What changes would you like to see happen? And once he makes those changes by inserting youth or changing formation or both... Will you ACCEPT the fact that it might not change anything? I believe we all know that this squad is older and thinner. I'm certainly not against putting in some of our youngsters but if it doesn't change anything, are the lot of you prepared for that or are we going to hear more cries to get rid of Carlo. I'm with Westway and Essien with their posts. At this point we need Carlo to get some financial backing to get us some players. Something. Carlo may get the wrong players. FINE. Then point the fingers can be at Carlo. To this point, what players has he really been able to buy? Roman needs to open the purse strings at least a little bit more and until that happens, we're going to continue on this merry-go-round. And I'll still be rooting, regardless of what happens.

Agreed. Schweinsteiger didn't start off as a defensive midfielder, but he took that role with the German National Team and with Bayern. He seems to have flourished since taking on that role.

Malouda confuses me. It's almost like the will to win has left him. Anelka just looks lethargic, absolutely. Replace Anelka with Sturridge and keep Malouda in? Have Kalou come in off the bench at the 60 min mark if it's not working? I wouldn't mind seeing how that works out.

Now THAT is what I was thinking. I won't argue with putting Bruma in but Ivan has been a horse at RB for us, why not shift him back? I'm not saying Bossy was horrible but if people want Bruma in so bad, why not put Ivan at RB?
