The question that has to be asked for this stat is how many of those sales would have gone to another shirt if we didn't have Torres. There is new sales just because we have Torres and they want his shirt and then there is new sales for people that were going to buy a shirt and just decided on Torres. I consider the second type to be revenue the club was going to get regardless. Still, £12m is pretty impressive and good news.

I agree with the most of you. I think he'll be back at Marseille this summer. Yes, we have to deal with antics at times but when he's on form is there any defense that can slow him down? Those are the times I'll remember. Lots of good memories he's given to this club and if he wants to go, he deserves his wish to be fulfilled.

I like this formation too. I can see the argument about Luiz not starting, especially since he needs to adapt to PL life. However, I would say he best be on the bench and be ready to come in as a sub if things aren't going well in the back. If Drogs isn't playing well, we could bring in Kalou as an impact sub. I think three points here is imperative. Not only because of the transaction this week, but because we're still chasing the three teams in front of us. I don't care how we do it, as long as it's done.
