Rooney playing away from home
As the saying goes, two in a bed, nothing said... add one more, you're on page four. As I always put on the end, though... Add in another you'll get a call from your mother. I expect some of you witty bar stewards to come up with something better, mind.

Getting it better the second time round
See, I'm not the only one who disagrees with your taste :P .... I massively disagree with you Muse posts too... although I'm not the most objective when it comes to them.

Where is that KFC guy when you need him?

Rooney playing away from home
Indeed it doesn't, but unfortunately it will always be brought up, as we saw with Terry and Cole. Also, slowies don't exist, my spell check even says so. :P

Rooney playing away from home
Although the problems with it are massive... does it make cheating better if it's a one night stand as well? If we're to believe what the tabloids have been saying Rooney took her on a string of dates, so does that make it worse? Does it make it worse than meeting a stranger in a club and having a quickie in the alley? I guess the only one who can really answer this, is the person who was cheated on.

Rooney playing away from home
I will give a different reply to Val's... I think it's better, but more so for the woman he was cheating on... at least with a prostitute there is no question of emotions being involved, and it's purely sexual. It's not cheating due to falling out of love, or falling in love... it's just wanting to get laid.... there are other problems with that of course, but it's just another way of looking at the situation or any situation like this. I'd like to see this affect his on pitch performances badly, but other than that, it's his, his Mrs's and that prostitute's own business to sort out between them.

Getting it better the second time round
Sorry I took so long to get back to you, I was watching something on TV... Internet Explorer isn't capable of rendering HTML5 right now, and certain videos on Youtube are now HTML5 (or related technologies at least). So you won't be able to see the videos properly in Internet Explorer. Right now, I would recommend switching to either Iron browser (the same as Google Chrome, but doesn't track your identity in the same way), or Firefox (although it's starting to suffer from bloat and the over use of it is allowing for more sophisticated exploits).

Are you using Internet Explorer by any chance? That would also explain it... if you're not though, I have no idea at all.

You will either have to update flash, or try a browser capable of HMTL5.

To go in line with the other threads which have popped up... how about some good remakes? Some of these are probably cheating, but f**k it. I guess they'll do for now.

Guns & Roses
Something I can definitely agree with.

Call Of Duty
After watching that video.... I'm not impressed... MoH it is then, I think.

Drogba vs Rooney
I agree on that one, however the problem is that they didn't bother changing it when it came to the next generation of consoles (current gen, now). That gave FIFA the chance to go ahead of them in the gameplay stakes, and that's where it is now. PES are now playing catch up to that, and FIFA are ahead, just about, but they are catching up now, and it's all about the 2011 games where I think they'll be even again... After which it'll be anyone's guess as to who comes out on top. Both FIFA and PES have their fan boys (on here too), just like most things, and they never see the pros of the other side... as always.

Are Liverpool that small club from the north who are in the relegation zone?

Chelsea v Stoke (PL) 28th Aug 2010 15:00 BST
I was really impressed with Mikel today, starting to make that position his own I feel. With Ramires in there, too, we've got a strong, strong squad centrally. Malouda and Cole both looked good on the left, too. There was just a general flatness about the performance, but that's to be expected after such strong wins. Players are still getting into the swing of things, and it'll be a couple more games before we're fully into the season. Bring on the rest of the season!

Thank f**k for that. I was getting nervous and I think everyone else was too!

I think it's still a bit early in the season for some of the youngsters. The side needs to be settled first, and 2 games (albeit great wins) isn't enough to say that we're settled yet. Give it 2/3 more games and we'll start seeing them making their appearances, and beyond that, even starts.

What are we going to do if Mikel gets injured?
I agree, he's looked as composed as ever, but one of the major complaints many have had about him, is his refusal to play a forward pass, and he's had the freedom, and confidence to do that recently. I don't think he's anywhere near a liability, he's good defensively... not great, but he's young and positioning is something which tends to come later in a player's career. The only time I feel he seems like a liability is when he's caught one on one with a player (Champions League, last year), but if he is, it means one of the centre backs has gone missing (Alex in that case I believe). If a centre back goes missing and he's one on one with a player, there isn't much he can do, the same could be said of most central midfield players, as they tend to lack pace, with exceptions being Essien and Ramires... Makelele would have had to foul the player and smile at the ref, Mikel is too scared to get sent off to do that sort of thing, due to his record of sending offs. I like Mikel a lot as a player, and Nibs will probably disagree with all of what I've said because he doesn't like Mikel (although that may be to do with his aversion to the holding midfield position as much as anything), but he probably won't be in our best side next season with the purchase of Ramires, which is unfortunate, but then again shows the strength of our squad. Like I said before, I really like the idea of playing Essien and Ramires in a double pivot at the base of midfield in a 4-2-3-1, but that may just be to do with it being in vogue right now.

Mancienne Back At Wolves
I heard rumours from some wolves fans that they didn't/couldn't meet our valuation of £5m, so we said they could have him on loan for less, and they did.

Football Manager 2010
I have tried pretty much every single formation possible with Chelsea, but I'm a big fan of the 4-2-3-1 (Asymmetric) right now. Gives a great balance to any side.

What are we going to do if Mikel gets injured?
Is 4-2-3-1 not the formation in vogue right now? It's most effective with a double pivot in the holding midfield players, meaning that either one can go forward, and the other drops in deep. Somewhat like what Germany played, and I believe Bayern played it against Wolfsburg too. I see that as being the best option, but failing that there are others, we could use Mancienne there, although it'd be a bad idea against the better sides out there, and probably the more physical ones too. I wouldn't trust him there against Stoke on the weekend for example. So yeah, 4-2-3-1, would be the best way to deal with that situation in my book. Something like this... Cech Ivanovich Alex Terry Cole Ramires Essien Lampard Anelka----------------------------Malouda Drogba I think both Ramires and Essien would work well in that system, because we all know how disciplined Essien is when he has to be, which would mean Ramires could go forward if he had an opportunity to do so, and if I'm judging Ramires right on his games for Brazil, he'd do the same if Essien went marauding forwards. There may be occasions when both bomb forward, which would leave us exposed, but the hope then would be that Cole and/or Ivan would spot that and not go as far forward. The main worry would be that it's a way of moving the play which requires training and practice, but I'd like to think that our players have the awareness to be able to cover each other in most eventualities.
