They cant be serious? Please someone tell me that this is a joke ...

Sorry if there is already a threat on this subject... But I have to rant about something that is on my mind for some time now. How is it possible that Töre isnt getting any sort of game time for our first team when he is able to shine in the Bundesliga and is already considered as one of the best young players currently playing in Germany? Frustrating to say the very least.

How can anyone expect a midfield consisting of the likes of Meireles, Ramires, Lampard and Mikel to perform well enough to fullfill the expectations? Romeu and Josh are not to blame for our misery but we all know that they wont be the answer to our problems (this season). Malouda is not good enough to play anywhere, so for me he isnt a option either. Essien is going to come back at some point, but we all know that his knees are more or less done. Even if he can stay fit for a longer period he will never come back to pre-injury form. Essien at his peak would be a huge upgrade over anyone we currently have but chances of him ever playing as well as he once did are slim to not existent. So right now Mata is the only one that you can expect to create on a regular basis, but as good as Mata is, he surely isnt good enough to do it all on his own. Sturridge on the right wing is playing well and I like him a lot but he isnt a player who´s first priority is to create chances for the central forward. Lukaku isnt good enough yet, and is not a winger or a creator in general. How could this misery, that should be obvious to everyone that looks at the squad, be overlooked in summer? We now have plenty of quality (at least on paper) central fowards (to be exact, 4) for one position but only one quality winger for two positions at the wing and no creative central midfielders. In my opinon, this is the first thing we have to chage. Get in some creativity in central midfield...

God damn stop critisizing people only because they say Torres was sh*t. (which he was once again) If I remember right most people want Torres in their line-up ... Its not like we dont want him to play good. We even want him over Drogba who is without a doubt a Chelsea legend and fan favourite aswell. Gotta be honest here, we all knew that Torres isnt fitting into the team and that we should have tried to get another winger or a creative, attacking midfielder. Now we are stuck with Drogba, Torres, Lukaku and Sturridge (who is playing well but creating service for the central forward isnt his strength), none of them will play well simply because we are terrible in midfield and Mata isnt enough to create chances on his own. What is often overlooked with this problem is that we CAN NOT expect midfielders like Ramires, Meireles or over the top Lampard, let alone Mikel to create chances. None of them are particulary creative or good with the ball at their feet. None of them are bad players, Ramires in particular is playing well this season, but they arent creative by any means.

Lets just hope Roman and the management has more patience with AVB then some of the users on here

Seriously...I was quite optimistic after the 3-0 win at the weekend but damn, this was depressing. The only good thing for me: Its the Carlin Cup and I liked Bertrand.

I would love to have Kaka playing for us but only on a free loan deal. (I know Real wouldnt do that) Paying 30m for him right now seems crazy... To be fair to Kaka he isnt playing as bad as some people on here claim...

Anyways if our series of bad luck (to be fair we had our fair share of it in recent games) ends we should be able to at least grind out a win (at least if we dont play even worse then in Leverkusen) 1-0 or 2-1 are totally fine with me and Im pretty optimistic that we can do it.

I agree blizeh this commet about "havet got the time" is stupid but in all honesty what exciting young player have you seen breakig into the first team? And if AVB can form a squad that is good enough to win the CL remains to be seen, so far its not looking this way. The only thing I really hope for is that AVB isnt sacked but we cant just pretend that our club is managed perfectly.

Gotta be honest here...Its best to just forget about the youngsters. I am getting way too frustrated if I think about their situation. Why the hell have we bought Lukaku if he isnt even playing when all of our strikers are out of form? Why is Romeu not playing even when Mikel is in terrible form? Why is Josh not playing when we desperatly need some sort of creativity in that midfield? You cant go in a game with Meireles Ramires and Lampard and expect them to create good offensive play...
