Cult TV series.
My main problem with SP is the episode with Mr. Garrison, Slave and a rat named Mr. Lemmywinks.

Cam we're both awesome, but as long as we're on top...

Chelsea v Birmingham (Prem) 27/01/10 1945 KO
If the ratings are very poor, then my observation in MOTM must be as well. I'd argue that they shorted Ivan and JC though

Chelsea v Birmingham (Prem) 27/01/10 1945 KO
Nice win against a team with momentum. Lots of fantastic give and go football. One of the most gentlemanly games I've seen lately, plenty of sportsmanship. Makes Serie A games look like a street fight. How it feels being back on top: Sponsored by my fondness for Budweiser

Dempsey's knee
I may be wrong about Davies unavailability: "The World Cup is easy for me to be back for,†Davies said in an interview. This with a titanium rod holding his femur together! "He broke a leg and an elbow and had facial fractures that required doctors to peel back his face." Not sure about the wisdom, but you can't fault his courage...

Preston vs Chelsea (FA Cup) 23/01/10 1245 KO
Wow geezer, I don't mean to boggle your mind. I suppose the implication is that my take on Hilario's size conflicts badly with your knowledge. But Hilario is almost 6' 3 which places him in the middle of this set of keepers: Gianluigi Buffon (1.91 m; 6 ft 3 inches) Petr Cech (1.97 m; 6 ft 5 1/2 inches) Iker Casillas (1.85 m; 6 ft 1 inch) Edwin van der Sar (1.97 m; 6 ft 51/2 inches) Rogerio Ceni (1.88 m; 6 ft 2 inches) He weighs almost as much as Cech, which means his body mass index is higher. His height/weight is better than average for BPL starters, which pleases me for a backup. And I feel his size to be ideal for agility on the line. Often taller means slower. Unboggle!

Dempsey's knee
Davies is going to be unavailable. Drunk driver, single car accident at 3:15 the morning after qualifying for WC 2010. Damn -_- 10/13/09 "the grim reality following Davies' horrific Tuesday morning auto accident on the George Washington Parkway in Northern Virginia: One of the passengers, 22-year-old Ashley J. Roberta has died. Davies, 23, is facing an arduous 6- to 12-month recovery and extensive rehabilitation after undergoing surgery for a broken right femur and tibia, a broken left elbow, facial fractures and a lacerated bladder."

blue baggage - big changes end of season
Kalou, Deco, and Mikel. Going, going, gone. If I were Ancelotti. I think Ballack might NOW be a better central defender than midfielder. One of my alltime favorite players, but I have to say what I see and that is he's too slow and bulky at this stage of his career. Especially compared to our other mids.

Cult TV series.
24 is thinly disguised propoganda promoting the use of torture in order to generate support US tactics at AbuGhraib, Gitmo etc., both past and going forward. Human rights and legal precedent go out the window. Escapism is fine, but this is a time where these really matter. Keifer is a tool. Not only for the show's purpose, but just a tool. Half-wit C-list son of a great actor. My fav is "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" on FX. This show is Seinfeld on Jameson whisky.

Preston vs Chelsea (FA Cup) 23/01/10 1245 KO
It's clear to ME how important FA competition is to our fans. Fantastic support throughout, classy play from the guys, great possession, not great competition. Deco should be sent to a team like PNE where he can stand out. MOTM - Anelka! This was a terrific opportunity for me to see 4 guys I'm not so familiar with: 1.) Ferreira - not enough for me to judge, didn't mark closely enough. 2.) Hilario - great size, decent play. Good backup for the best keeper in the world. 3.) Sturridge - young, fast, athletic, aggressive. I like him as a project behind our fine strikers. 4.) Alex - Rugged, excellent defender. I would start him ahead of Carvalho. :D

If you could sign anyone...
Quite sure I meant salami or bologna :P

If you could sign anyone...
MadMac, can you or anyone tell me what to expect while in an Italian prison (prosciutto?), because kicking Azurri a** might well be frowned upon. :P
-
If you could sign anyone...
Robin Van Persie or Massimo Ambrosini. If we signed Gattuso, I'd swear off football. If I'm ever in Italy and see him about, I would fight him.

Dempsey's knee
That's why I threw in the picture. I expect him to be the leading scorer for the US in S. Africa, if healthy. And I now realize that Yorkshire pudding is bread, and thus cannot be "smeared".

Dempsey's knee
"Come on Burkina send Michael home!" - loz 1/17/10 I say Roy send Clint home! Smearing Yorkshire pudding on his injury will not prepare him for Lamps and Terry on June 12th.

"I was unable to see the Everton or Portsmouth fixtures, due to programming. I don't mind the Everton deal though, because seeing Fellaini makes me feel uncomfortable." Thunder Dan 12/20/09 I cannot expess how distressing this rumor is. Don't make put down my Hoegaarden and come around there...
