HBO offered the directors more money and time to finish it off properly, but they were not interested in doing more than this season. Burnt out maybe. It's all on the finale now, they have a big mess to clear up. I hope they don't just do another long battle and spend more attention on dealing with Dany quickly and then do some satisfying wrapping up character loose ends. We don't need more battles, really.. Highly unlikely though. A show as detailed like this can never please everyone, everyone has their own ideas of how it should go down, but you have no say. I have still enjoyed it a lot, but last night was a bit disappointing in just how destructive it became for the civilians etc. Maybe GRRM's point was to show war is just bad business for all. Roll on the finale.

I liked how the show made the bad guys good and the good guys bad in that episode. When you look at how beautiful Kings Landing was and now its all rubble... it makes you question who you are even supporting. I think Jon Snow may be the man to kill Dany to fulfil the Azor Ahai Prophecy Although the trailer would lead you to think Arya is the one to go for it, as the camera zooms in on her focused gaze, presumably looking at Dany.

Or maybe, everywhere he goes he is offered a drink and he simply made a mistake?

At least Dany didn't do anything too rash.

He has done enough to merit another season, no doubt about it. We need to hit the ground running next season. A lot of the games this season were brutal to watch. In fairness he didn't have a preseason and it is his first year in charge. There needs to be a much better performance all over next year, hopefully now they know each other a bit more things will improve.

haha - you never know with Eden, he teased all the clubs before he settled with us... Whatever happens he has been great and no ill feeling will be cast. I hope he stays, but that remains to be seen and looks rather unlikely... how will he cope in Madrid if he doesn't score a hat trick every game, our fans will never boo Hazard, Madrid fans wont think twice about it. Grass isn't always greener!! He has it good here. But.....if he does go more stars will come. Zola, Terry, Drogba, Lampard, Hazard, maybe RLC can be the new man.... theres always a new kid on the block!

Happy to have gotten top 4, and possibly 3rd. It kinda shows how hard the league is now, no game is a given anymore. Except maybe Huddersfield at home. Next year we should be much better, hopefully!!!

the arrows he was shooting were basically torpedos. I am still enjoying it very much, but the last episode has taken a bit of a dip by its usual very high standards it has to be said. Here's hoping the next two episodes are awesome.
