Chelsea v Man Utd (PL) 05/02/12 KO 16:00 GMT
Make that 13 - Flo was putting through some good passes for them. Howard Webb is a whole different story; 2 of the softest penalties I've seen and it make me draw comparisons with ovrebo. It was so bad the man united players started to pass to him after the second goal!

So long Alex ..
Will miss his free kicks more than anything else, the sense of anticipation as he stepped up to slam one towards the goal was immense!

Talking tactics
We've played our best football this season using a 4-2-3-1 formation with Mata in the hole behind the striker where he can really do some damage and is not isolated on the left hand side.

Are we out of the title race?
Most definitely unless something changes fast and Torres starts scoring, there is more slick passing and we keep more clean sheets. Also we must play Lukaku more that 20 odd minutes he had he looked a real handful for the Norwich defence after Torres being hot and cold yet again.

Warnock sacked as QPR boss, thank god.
Well, they think they are, you know what I meant :).

Warnock sacked as QPR boss, thank god.
I know it's not exactly Chelsea related but they are one of our rivals and I for one am glad to see the back of him. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11711/7418881/Warnock-leaves-Rangers

FA Cup Draw
I don't want to play them either. MK Dons would be an easier tie, allow us to try out some youth players (why he didn't start Lukaku today after we forked out 18mil in the summer for him is beyond me) and QPRse would just bring up the whole Terry "alleged racism" sh*te up again.

Terry - Allegation/Captaincy (merged)
Well, you've got to hand it to them, they actually came out and supported a fellow pro and they are both black, making this charge look all the more ridiculous. http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard-sport/football/article-24024141-emmanuel-adebayor-john-terrys-off-field-trials-will-not-harm-his-performances.do

You cant win when the goalposts are always moving
Yeah, they don't like our success and will try any petty tactics to derail it. We will never win until the media gets bored and moves on to its next hate target which is usually one of our players anyway so there is no point in getting wound up over it.

Change six things in football.
1. Liverpool abolished from the football league 2. Rip up the history books so no more can fans whine on about 'istory 3. Destroy the Europa League or at least make it a purely KO tournament 4. Stop the unnecessary hatred towards Chelsea 5. Stop the unnecessary hatred towards Chelsea 6. Stop the unnecessary hatred towards Chelsea

Gary Cahill *UPDATED* *Now Signed*
Maybe not double but Madrid were willing to take him in the Summer and I guess we would be able to sell for more than £24 million. Regarding Cahill, I think he would improve alongside Terry and would replace Alex who is obviously leaving. 7 Million is a good price for him and I read an article earlier that we are already in talks to sign him! http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/dec/23/chelsea-gary-cahill-bolton-wanderers?newsfeed=true

Edinson Cavani - £50m
Big money often isn't the best way to go having spent £50 million and £30 million respectively on two flops. Our best ST of the Roman era has to be Drogba by some margin and while he cost £24 million that price tag is nothing on £50, especially for someone not experienced in the league.

Time to Cech out?
Wait for Courtois to return, that should keep him on his toes. He is putting in top performances at Atletico.

Flo
Always liked Flo when he was with us but I saw him at a masters tourney recently and he was really poor! I was even more surprised when I found out he has come out of retirement to play for Sogndal in Norway! This was the best video I could find of him:

US Government taking the Internet - SOPA Bill
Power hungry American politicians thinking they can rule the internet News flash! The internet was purposely made so nobody could rule or govern the whole thing so free speech was encouraged by the internet; therefore what the US government is trying to do is nigh on impossible and quite frankly a joke.

Masterful Performance from JT Tonight.
Exactly why I love him as a player. He doesn't mind going in to tackles where he may get hurt for example at Bolton when we were cruising he still was diving in to win the ball like it was 0-0 and he had to make the challenge; he is 100% focused on the game. Also, every single game no matter how big or small it is he comes and acknowledges the fans whether it be home or away which not too many footballers will do today. Just saw this article now and it pretty much re-iterates my point: http://www.bbc.co.uk...n_football.html JT doesn't need his teammates wearing shirts of him on to know he has the teams backing!

Masterful Performance from JT Tonight.
Agreed, success breeds contempt maybe? And with regards to JT being supposedly "racist" (I use the term very loosely) racism is a form of prejudice and haven't the media been prejudice towards JT for a long time and nothing is done! Just because it isn't about skin colour doesn't mean it's alright to do it. JT is pure class and even though it doesn't show in games he is a human being, footballer should be judged on what they do on the pitch not what supposedly happens off the pitch.
-
Masterful Performance from JT Tonight.
Yeah, I cannot begin to fathom why other fans hate him so much and claim he should not even be in the England set-up.

Masterful Performance from JT Tonight.
I don't post very often here, but I felt I must to convey my feelings on what was a simply sublime performance from John Terry tonight. With all the allegations floating round at the moment and it just being announced 24 hours before the match that he was going to face charges for this alleged "racial slur" (bull) many players would have been fazed at the thought of a derby game and possibly one of the biggest games of the season so far. But, my worries were soon quashed when I saw the look on his face in the tunnel. I knew he was ready, I knew he had been in this situation before and had came through it. And most of all, I knew that he knew the club were behind him 100% and Chelsea needed a performance from him tonight. And boy did he deliver! After Ivanovic was forced off with injury early on in the game and Boss had to move into center back I thought there was going to be trouble. My fears were without foundation because fair play to Bosingwa, he played very well at CB, a lot better than I thought he was capable of but at the end of the day JT was the star of the show. Everything Spuds threw at him he dealt with in a fashion which was glorious to watch. And that block in the dying moments, well, I was simply stunned by how good he was and even though Cole played very well and provided a great cross for the goal how Terry did not get MOTM is beyond me (Sky not wanting to look like they are siding with Terry maybe even though he was the best player on the park by some distance) Now, this would be seen as a great performance anyway but add on heaps of pressure from the media and constant abuse from the fools in the crowd then what you have is an amazing individual; strong in the face of adversity and time and time again does not let his private life get in the way of the game and continues to prove people wrong when they say he is not what he used to be. He is. If you can't be bothered reading the whole post, then basically JT is a complete Chelsea legend and whatever you think about his personal life, you cannot take away the fact he is out best defender and I will always remember him as one of the all time Chelsea greats. His performance tonight was simply stunning.
