Last season we played 58 games, so we will see plenty of versatile players like Dave. CHO should go on loan for a year.

I don't think 70 mil is too much for a world class attacking wingback, with an insane speed, that can cover both sides. Reece James can also play RCB. We don't have to use Emerson and Alonso when we are resting Chilwell, they can be sold to bring the 70mil down to 40-50mil. While R.James and Chilwell are good all round wingbacks, it makes sense to have a specialist attacking option that provides 15-20 goals/assists each season compared to James (3) and Chilwells (8) this season.

I don't really se a problem given how many games we are going to play, while also thinking about injuries and suspensions. Both James(RWB,RCB) and Hakimi(RWB,LWB) can play in two different position as well. I don't mind paying 65m-70m for Hakimi, we can reduce that to 30m-40m by selling Emerson and Alonso, who are no longer needed.

I hope we don't go for him, not a good fit and he has been on the decline for a couple of years.

I would be ok with Haaland for 100m-110m | 300k-350k wages. 150m-200m and 500k wages is just crazy for a player with huge potential, but can be very inconcistent in his performances. I remember a run of like 10 games where he didn't score. On sunday against Greece, he was strolling around, not bothered to initiate any press and had like 3 touches of the ball. Almost all of his goals are from penalties. His success this year is because Pioli changed the formation from 4-3-3, where Kessie played box to box, to a 4-2-3-1/3-4-3(in attack). In this formation Kessie is a DM/CM, that uses his physicality against the oposition midfield and keep a tight reign on their creative players. I just like the combination of a strong DM/CM pressuring their creative players, that can also shield the ball and can play some very accurate longballs for counterattacks.

I'm not a fan of Alonso, but I would keep him over Bertrand. If we want some competition for our wingbacks we should be looking at Hakimi or Theo Hernandez.

There were some horrible personal mistakes, but I don't think having huge space between our midfield and defence under Lampard helped. Isolated defenders with some fast attackers at their heels tend to do some strange things. We still have some problems with mistakes in 3-4-3, like Jorginho against WBA and Arsenal recently.

Will be interessting to see what formations he will try for next season, besides the 3-4-3. He has played 4-1-4-1/4-2-3-1 with Dortmund and 4-3-3 with PSG. With a proper DM (Rice or Kessie) I believe we can easily change from 3 to 2 center backs, wich will allow for more attacking lineups against teams that defend deep.

Haaland went through the same club before Dortmund. Him and Sancho would be some great additions for our attack for next season, if we fail to sign Haaland (sell Giroud and Tammy).

It was a good start, because that was after a year with a transfer ban. Our net spend is still low, when you include last season and season before that.

I think Sancho is an interessting second option to a top striker. It would move Pulisic back to his favourite position on the left, in competition with Werner. With Giroud and Tammy most likely leaving we would need a decent third striker, as you mentioned. I'm not a fan of spending 80m-100m on rice though, I would go for Tchouameni or F.Kessie for half the price. That would possibly leave some money to get some great attacking wingbacks, like Hakimi and Theo Hernandez.

I don't think Dortmund is the biggest obstacle. It's a selling club and given the choice of 100m-120m this year, or 65m next year, then I believe Dortmund would sell. I'm more worried about wage demands and other stuff Raiola might be pushing for. Werner in his best season had a conversion rate of 28%, but in all the other seasons he has been below 20% and at Chelsea this season he's at 10%. He needs alot of chances to score. Haaland on the other hand has 33% conversion rate this season. He has all the attributes to succeed in the premier league, because he can both bully and outrun all the defenders.

Realistic for the champions of europe: Inn: Theo Hernandez (40m-50m). Lightning quick left back, that can challange Chilwells position. Franck Kessie (30m, 1 year left on contract). Proper physical DM that can shield the ball and make forward passes under pressure. Erling Haaland (100m-120m). Out: Alonso and Emerson (20m-25m) Giroud (free) Tammy Abraham (40m) Tomori (25m)

80m is crazy, that is over double the price inter bought him for in the summer. In any case James/Azp/"Odoi" will cover that position atleast until next season. I'm more worried about our left side, both Emerson and Alonso are not good enough backups for Chillwell. I suggest we have a good look at Theo Hernandez (Milan) ,for half the price (40m-50m)., just as quick as Hakimi and better passing, dribbling and in defence,

I don't think we need a new CB next year, just buy a proper DM like Franck Kessie and put him infront of Christensen/Silva and Rudiger in a back 4. That solves two problem areas, because we can rest a CB while playing a back 4. We can also rest players like Jorginho, Kante and Kovacic (injury prone). Milan wanting Tomori is great. F.Kessie has 1 year left on his deal and Theo Hernandez, who is lightning fast, would be a far better option then Alonso and Emerson.

A proper DM like F.Kessie to allow Mount and Havertz to push forward. We need some options when Kante is resting as well. We keep 3-4-3 against the top teams.

It could work like Hazard and Costa, those two were operating closer to eachother, while our third forward was more wide.

Superb pass, he also made an equally impressive challange on De Bruyne, after City counterattacked our corner (15min mark). He outran their counterattack from deep inside Citys half and body checked KDB 🙂

I wouldn't want him playing as a single striker either atm, but he can play a wide forward in a 4-1-2-3 formation. We still need to sign a top striker, with Giroud and Tammy A leaving.

Best solution I can think of is to focus on two formations: 3-4-3 (against big teams) and attacking 4-1-2-3 ( Buy a proper DM and have Mount and Havertz behind our attackers).
