To be honest as heart wrenching as it is to see Chelsea in this sorry state, I'm still getting excited. Not by our players as they have as much umph as a towel rack! But it wasn't to long ago that this kind of scrap was common place. During that time Stamford Bridge was full of people there to see Chelsea. Not there to see Chelsea win. People that sang loudly throughout the match. Not people on holiday looking for a day out in London. I'm not saying these people aren't welcome as of course they are and they represent important revenue. All I want is to hear the Chelsea roar again. The bridge has been dominated by away fans this season (and probably a couple previous). This may bring some supporters down a peg or two. It might remind us that we aren't untouchable. Without that we run the risk of becoming devoid of all reality when it comes to Chelsea. We wouldn't want to become bin dippers now would we?
