Starting this because their is a bad vibe coming from the OP on the other thread.

----------------------Begovic

Ivanovic-----Zouma----Cahill----Azpil

--Pedro-------Willian--------Kenedy

I think we need to go more attacking against Bournemouth, do go for Baba at LB and get him overlapping and getting crosses in. Fabregas can rot on the bench for a little while, he's just awful. I would have brought Costa back, but his petulance means I think he needs to sit it out again.

So:

Begovic/Courtois

Ivanovic

Zouma

Cahill

Baba

Matic

Oscar

Loftus-Cheek

Willian

Remy

Hazard

Yeah I'd be very happy with that team would definitely give RLC a go in this game.

Although I think I would go one step further and have Azpi on the right. It looked very good and attacking minded against Maccabi. I know Ivanovic looked a lot better on Sunday but we shouldn't need the extra height with RLC and Matic in the midfield and Azpi is so much better going forward at the moment.

You could also consider Kenedy at LB if you wanted to go one stage further like we did against Norwich, I'd choose Baba though as its his natural position and his crossing looked pretty damn good midweek.

I would also go with Costa up front but that's just my personal preference and I'm sure many would disagree especially if it was a mini tantrum on Sunday (small positive if true is that it does show he wants to be playing) but he just adds an extra dimension to the game which most strikers don't possess so I would put him in,

            Beg/Court

Azpi - Zouma - Cahill - Baba/Kenedy

          RLC - Matic

Willian - Oscar - Hazard

           Costa/Remy

I would keep as much of the fluidity we have been seeing with the 3 behind the front man (4 against spurs) in recent weeks as we can, it has been great to see and looks so much more threatening than when the players were rigidly sticking to their positions, all we need now is to start finding some end product, and we will continue our movement up the table.

I'm going to go with 3-0 Chelsea with goals from Willian, Zouma and Hazard, hopefully there is a good goal from open play somewhere in the game as that would be another massive step in the right direction.

KTBFFH!

We have to win this, we are playing good and we have to continue in that way.

I'd like to see this starting line:

-------------- Courtois (he'sback) ------

Azpi ------ Zouma --- Cahill --------- Baba

----------- Matic ------- Loftus-Cheek ------

Willian ---------- Oscar ----------------- Hazard

------------------- Remy ---------------------------

(I know that Ivanovic and Fabregas will probably start, but I just shared my starting line)

COME ON CHELS!!!

Begovic

Dave - Zouma - JT - Baba

Fabregas - Matic

Willian - Hazard - Pedro

Costa

I think that's our best XI, would like to see something like that for this game.

2-0 Chelsea

ah...the "dry" Bournemouth MD thread - well done coco - hopefully we'll be spared all those "wet" vapour like predictions from you know who. Anyway, I am in agreement with FC above - now or never Costa - the rest of the team picks itself. Have a thought for us down here - 4.30 am kick-off.

Oh okay, we'll use this thread instead.

Chelsea 1-1 Bournemouth.

A typically scrappy Championship goal from them when we've switched off late in the game.

Lots of possession and chances from us but very little end product.

Rub dub, just relaxing in the tub...loving the optimism in this (the proper match day thread) Bournmouth coming into a bit of form at just the wrong time after their good showing against Everton which (along with pishposh's prediction has got me worried about this one,

weighing all that into the equation and having my optimism dampened slightly I'll have to go for a conservative 2-0.

Starters is a difficult one, thought Costa deserved dropping and didn't deserve to come on last time out but still not ready to write him off, big decision at the back as well with Ivan having his best game this season and Zouma/Cahill looking very solid I'd be sticking with the same back four against strong opposition, not sure if I'd bring Baba in in this one for his attacking threat.

Always a tough choice between Oscar and Pedro aswell, if Hazard plays in the middle I'd go for Pedro, If Edens on the wing, I'd stick with Oscar.

Oi, go back to your own thread. Only sensible posters allowed in this one!!

Haven't got a clue what line-up Jose will go for in this one. Will he bring back Costa? (Hope Not). Will Remy start? Will RLC get a start, if so at whose expense? Will JT be back, what full-backs will he opt for?

Regardless of all that, Bournemouth at home we HAVE to win. Not saying we should be complacent, but looking for a good, professional performance and all being well,

3-0 to The Chels.

I got a feeling Jose is going to use Kenedy more and more as the season goes on.

Hope that feeling comes good Coco!

Same side as the one at the lane except Costa for Oscar. If Costa doesnt show more (and i think he will)i would hook him off at half time.Should be an open game.....COYB!

lets get real here Splash Pish

this is a home game vs Bournemouth, a little club that somehow got very lucky getting promoted and will unfortunately drop back down come May

Costa will start

Chelsea will win

All hail Chippy's optimism !!!!

I'm pretty sure Costa will start, William and hazard also, but his knows who else in the front 4.

That's right that Costa was one of our most important players last season, he was scoring goals and put all of him towards the team, but this season isn't going well for him until now. Last game he was benched and then showed lack of professionalism in his warmup and then when Jose told him he isn't entering the game, his behavior went even worse. From my view, he doesn't deserve to start. Maybe this game might bring his form back, but at the moment I'd pick Remy and Traore before him.

Think Jose will go with:

Begovic/courtios

Azpi

Zouma

Cahill

Kenedy

Cesc

Matic

Willian

Hazard

Pedro

Costa

I expect Jose may go with this as the game against porto is must not lose so he may rest brana and jt for it.

Really need to show some form here and get a couple of goals from open play.

Costa's poor movement and Hazard's ongoing goal drought have really blunted us in the final third.

For all his new found dead ball deadliness Willian still isn't doing much in open play and nearly ever has a shot on goal.

Pedro has looked lively and been our biggest threat in open play but is often shooting wide.

Right now I'm still not sure where the goals will come from.

Neither Matic or Fàbregas have the ability to provide goals and we seem heavily reliant on set pieces to score right now.

I think the fact Eddie Howe refuses to abandon their attacking possession football even against the best teams will help us get back to scoring ways.  No disrespect but last season this would be a formality so I would be disappointed if a team like Bournemouth came to the Bridge and unlike Norwich didn't sit back and crowd their box and we didn't take advantage.  It will be interesting to see how we setup, I'm hoping for at least a 3 goals, this is the perfect fixture to help us kick on from the good performance at Spuds.

Goals? Aside from willian free kicks I would say they are most likely to come from our center backs or brana from set plays.
