  1. I think it's safe to say Coutinho won't make it at Inter, the team just isn't set up to accommodate players like him. Probably why Sneijder has been so poor this season. He did well on loan at Espanyol, scored quite a few good goals. Quick passing teams like Arsenal, etc should be looking at him cause he would flourish under those circumstances.
  2. He was better, without Hulk he wouldn't have got half of the goals he did. It's just a shame that after over a decade of transfers and general good relations between both clubs that they still feel the need to follow through on their buy low and sell high principle.
  3. To be fair, Falcao went for a similar fee and Hulk was the better of the two when they were both at Porto, naturally they are going to want the same amount they got for Falcao. Could always chuck in Ferreira into the deal, which would reduce the fee by £1m...
  4. Also if we want to replace Essien, should look no further than Danilo. Yet another great purchase from Porto. Shares similar traits to Ramires, plays all along the right side, not as quick though (Not many are to be fair) but is more skillful and a better dribbler than Ramires. Pretty much a David Luiz + Ramires combo.
  5. People often just gloss over the fact that Toure is very lazy and sometimes just doesn't even try. His age, the amount of wages he's on and more importantly, the fact that he's assaulted Mata on more than a few occasions (This was even before he came to Chelsea, hated him when they were both in Spain too) is just a big turn off.
  6. Huntelaar is in the last year of his contract. Just sayian'
  7. Pretty much this combined with the age thing. Just stick with RDM I say.
  8. All of them? Hulk is worse than all of them? I really should just stop here after reading that to be honest.Muniain and Llorente are Basque players and would never leave unless Barca or Madrid show keen interest. Anyone else and it's just a case of teams like City making absurd offers which is simply too good for the club as a whole to turn down. I only mentioned United cause they have been linked with them for a while now but I doubt either of them will go there. Considering the amount of clubs that would be interested in Lavezzi, he kind of is unrealistic unless we offer silly money. Also he's playing in Europe next season, playing in a team he likes and that could potentially get into a CL spot/possible title mount next season with some better additions to their defence. Why would he leave?
  9. Hazard is not interested. Besides, City want him and they have clearly got more money and better chances of winning things than Chelsea.Lavezzi has no reason to leave and if he was to do so, he would have his pick of clubs. Even if he did want to join, you would be looking at around the same figure, if not more, as Hulk which is around 20-30m. No point even considering Muniain and Llorente, they are by no means realistic signings. No idea where you got that from. If either of them was to leave it would be to Barca/Madrid, maybe City or United but even that's pushing it. Affellay, I doubt he's realistic unless Barca benefit in some way apart from money. He's still needed for rotation when their players all die off towards the end of the season. Rossi is injured for a whole year and even if we did get him he would be unavailable till way past half way through the season, what makes you think he would come back as the same player anyway? And again, he would have his pick of clubs. Lots of teams will be circling Villarreal after their relegation to pick off their players. Quagliarella and Soldado, while good players, are not needed unless both Drogba and Torres go for some strange reason. Even then there are better players to replace them with than those two. Higuain might leave Real, but it's a very small chance and it's depended on another transfer happening which itself it quite unlikely. As for Lucas Moura, well let me see if I've got this straight. You don't want to spend that much on an "unproven" player in Hulk but will glady shell out the same, if not more, on Lucas who of course has proven himself, right? I don't even..
  10. Ability to hold up play, strength, work rate, team work, passing, vision and movement. Pretty much everything that Drogba offers us right now, but obviously not of quite the same world class quality. The whole of the Porto team didn't look great, the new manager (Vitor Pereira) is tactically inept and almost cost Porto a lot of games this season with his poor decisions. Despite that, Hulk still managed to get 4 goals and 3 assists from 6 apps, in what at the time, was a poorly organised team. I'm not slating Danny by any means, I think he will come good eventually, he's got too much ability to just fall off. Just saying that it would not make sense to play him as a ST right now (especially if Hulk does join), it would just be another Torres situation where he's isolated. That said, it would be interesting to see at one stage during next season though, may happen during some cup matches.
  11. The league is hardly "very week", a very week league is something like the SPL. It may not be of interest or entertaining to you but to call it very week is quite insulting. As a lone striker, in the system Chelsea currently play, he is the better striker because he plays that system for Porto as well as his favoured RW. He trumps Sturridge in just about every department required to play that role. His finishing is fine, he just has a lot of shots which makes it look like he's not clinical.
  12. What a waste of money that would be. Might as well keep Josh at Chelsea and force him to the first team, would probably get better performances from Josh.
  13. Not really cause Hulk still makes a much better ST than Sturridge.
  14. Bayern don't need him and if they wanted a winger/striker they would go for the best.
  15. £15m is a pretty great deal for a player like him to be honest. Expected something like £20m+ seeing as people like mugging us off.
  16. Swansea wanted him at the start of the season/eariler I believe, Chelsea f**ked around, they went and got Sigurdsson, Chelsea lose out.
  17. Let's not go too far now mate.I would only get him if we fail to buy a proper playmaker this summer or if we eventually do lose Drogba and he was willing to join us at a reasonable price and wage. He is a class player, fantastic ability on the ball, great vision and as you said he's generally in the right place at the right time. At the very least it adds something different upfront. That said I would still take punts at others first before coming to him.
  18. Even if RDM doesn't cut it in the long run, I would still rather have him than Capello.
  19. I feel like people are vastly overrating Martinez at times. I would rather spend said 30 mil, if I had to, on Song who is ten times better than Martinez in every department. Apart from his passing (which isn't exactly miles better than Mikel's), ability to play CB and dribbling (at times he does pull off some good dribbles/skills, I'll give him that) he is no better than Mikel. As for Fellaini, I wouldn't mind seeing him at Chelsea. However, I would rather we focused on the other important areas first. I don't want to see us spending £20m+ on him before we've even got round to wingers/playmakers.
  20. God no, Johnson is awful.
  21. Most likely cause he's not very consistent.
  22. Like many others have said, has to be Robbie.
