chris4783cfc
Is it just me or is anyone else frustrated at the lack of games Josh is getting. Im all for our youngsters going out on loan to get games under their belts, but Josh might as well of stayed at Chelsea and kept the bench warm at the bridge. At least if he stayed here he would of been training with better players and dare i say it had more minutes on the pitch. Surely even dropping down to the Championship would of been better if it meant he was playing week in week out. Ryan Bertrand is a great example of how much good it does to go out on loan, but only if your playing!!!!
Phillip
Yes, he should have gone to a Championship team, but that is said with hindsight.
Remodez
Swansea wanted him at the start of the season/eariler I believe, Chelsea f**ked around, they went and got Sigurdsson, Chelsea lose out.
skippy
He would have better off playing in our youth team.
Nibs
He would have better off playing in our youth team. he's too old for the youth team but at least might have got some game time under RDM and some reserve matches.
WV2 Blue
To be fair i would have preferred Josh play tonight instead of Romeu....
Backbiter
Yes, a total write-off of a season for one of our finest young talents. It looked like Swansea would be a great place for him to develop, but it's been a waste of time. We just can't seem to bring on our youth players. So many have gone out on loan - Forssell, Carlton Cole, Sinclair, Kakuta, van Aanholt, to name of few - but don't seem to have improved at all while they were away. Bertrand looks to be an exception. Brayerz
Lets face it, when we heard that he was going to Swansea, we thought it was perfect for him and that he would get a fair wedge of playing time, but obviously something has happened for him to get so little time. I don't doubt his ability, but what else could be holding him back from even getting regular sub appearances at a club that seemingly it moulded to him. Maybe I'm just expecting too much to soon. HisDogSpot
You'd of thought with the lack of games he'd of had this party by now! But seriously we should bring him back and he should be coming on when a games won at like 70 odd minutes and should start in cup games!
Zeta
Didn't even make their bench for the last game of the season. What a waste of time.
The Brit
why did swansea sign him in the first place? if we weren't reassured he would play regularly, why did we let him go...a complete waste of a season at an age where every match is crucial to your development
highwayman64
Like any player, it is up to them to make themselves worth a starting place. Dont get me wrong I am puzzled too because every time I have seen him he has looked a good prospect, but something clearly hasnt clicked for him, great shame but hopefully next season another loan, another chance to impress....... Blue Tony
Beautiful player, but lacking in strength and explosiveness, he's supposed to be on a strength -building regimen. If Brendan thought he was good enough, he would play him. Silky, but not good enough for the Premier league yet.
Scott Harris
Beautiful player, but lacking in strength and explosiveness, he's supposed to be on a strength -building regimen. If Brendan thought he was good enough, he would play him. Silky, but not good enough for the Premier league yet. Then maybe he should have gone somewhere else because Swansea was a waste of time. NooWaay
I'm surprised Swansea never used him really, a Championship team would have helped him develop much faster. Maybe another loan spell would be worthwhile.
