Vintage Blues pictures and film
Sadly, its the same all over, in 2006 Brighton+Hove you could choose from 900 licensed premises... today there's less than 300, or so I'm told by a Brighton season ticket holder. I see him twice a year and football always crops up when business buttoned, on each occasion a dark cloud appears over him as he claims "Chelsea destroyed my ground" (Goldstone 84)... with difficulty, I manage to leave the office and run down the stairs before pissing myself laughing!!! Can anyone point me to 1967 Vid/pic of Chico Hamilton doing "keepy-ups" with tennis ball just after he signed? Its for a genuine cause, I've trawled Tube/BBC/Wiki without a sniff, I'd be truly grateful for any help/advice. He scored on his debut (spuds) but left after 4 further games, and widely rumoured to have "pinballed" out of Roebuck one afternoon, and why not?

Vintage Blues pictures and film
The sheepskin sparked this memory... as a 15yr old, I used to work on a Saturday for Barry Bridges. One afternoon in mid summer, four Chels players dropped in for a drink (not the first of the day) one of whom was David Webb who had a spanking sheepskin coat over a Tshirt. Noticing I'd taken a shine to his coat, Webby offered to sell it -- a wonderful gesture -- but it was in the middle of a heatwave!!! They all sat round a table and kept me busy all afternoon bringing more bottles. I left at 6pm and they were all singing their heads off... unforgettable

Jose House Hunting
BBCNews24 tonight has picked up on AVB "parting" and Jose house hunting. My mate's a spud and has, for some weeks, believed Jose house hunting is "proof positive" that Jose's Cock bound, in readiness for when Harry goes to England. Following AVB's deplorable departure, I'd laugh my tits off if Jose blanked spuds and came back... though personally, I'd prefer a return to "sexy football"... rapido/subito

Benitez approach!?!?!
Liverpool were mind numbingly boring under Benetiz, they were with few exceptions, huge and that Tony Adams/Martin Keown-alike defensive priority has no place at The Bridge... speaking of Keown, he was always better on the floor

Lofty's Wall of Sound - What are you listening to?
just test drove latest "super mini" and this is (one time only) thumb in the eye to soulless, tedious modernity... and that's punk, right? and music to my ears rant over, test drive doubled as a day out for my mum who forgot to switch on her hearing aids: "Ay... come again. Ooooh, this car is lovely, better than you loonin (she meant hoonin) about on that motorbike"... yes dear, but only in a world of clarkson and saga. She drove(?) me nearly as barmy as her own quintessential state of barmy... and now I'm in remorse, so this is for Cloth Ears

An evening with Alan Hudson at Crawley Town FC
best wishes to Huds, a fantastic player in 70's Chels, sold to pay for the East Stand. He declined to play for England U23s having allegedly been tipped off by Bobby Moore that he was a cert to start in full international... a strop and why not? He later played at Wembley against West Germany and ran rings around Gunter Netzer who was widely regarded as the world's No. 1 midfielder, for which he was widely praised... even by the anti Chels media, and never forget how brilliant he was in Athens, Cup Winners' Final. I sincerely regret missing the evening... and one of my grandsons is on Crawley's youth books !!!!

Last Movie You Watched
I recently saw original, non-edited version of "Scum". In light of recent Chels form, it gave my spirits a proper lift to note (in bathroom scene) that Phil Daniels, an averagely hung Blooo Boy, manifestly outshone Ray Winston (scummy hammers) who, by comparison, is clearly a Pawnbrokers' shop signage!!!

Terry - Allegation/Captaincy (merged)
Should you share my disquiet at the interference, and pressurising of FA, emanating from Parliament in regard to sacking of JT as England captain, I'd be pleased to hear your views on using the government's own Epetition site to voice our(?) rejection of politicians' involvement in football. I have already Emailed my dissatisfaction to my MP, BBCNews24 and SkySports... and received not one reply, well I never! At time of election, I neither cast my vote for Tory nor Labour camps, my motivation is solely to inform Westminster PLC that, irrespective of an individual's club allegiance (hopefully), football supporters en masse find politicians meddling with our game is unacceptable... so kindly consider the following draft Keep Politicians out of Football On 2nd February, Damien Collins MP; a member of the Commons Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee, appeared on several media platforms calling for John Terry to be stripped of the England captaincy due to the July court case in which Anton Ferdinand claims to have been the victim of racist comments made by John Terry during a Premiership game between Queens Park Rangers and Chelsea. Within hours, the Football Association Chairman, arguably propelled by Damien Collins' puppet strings, meekly complied by sacking John Terry of the captaincy. The involvement of Damien Collins MP in the Commons Select Committee's review of football governance into Leeds United FC during 2011, as recorded in the Yorkshire Post of 4th August 2011, prompted the Leeds Chairman to pose the question: "Why Damian Collins is carrying such a torch for Leeds United when he is an avowed Manchester United supporter living in Kent, as many of them do, I do not know. I suspect there is a hidden agenda here or he has a vendetta against the club or myself". Following the withdrawal from consideration, as a candidate for now vacant England captain position, by Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand, Damien Collins has made no further public statement on the matter. Lord Triesman applauds the Football Association's decision to sack John Terry as England captain, praising the high standards set by politicians. Lord Triesman, former FA Chief Executive, was forced to retire his FA position following his indiscretions to a lady over lunch, who bugged his remarks. 9th February 2012, Fabio Capeollo, statistically the most successful England Manager in more than 40 years, resigns citing FA's sacking of John Terry's captaincy as undermining the Manager's credibility and a contradiction to the individual's basic democratic right to be considered "innocent until proven otherwise". 10th February 2012, on a day when the UK political arena focussed upon NHS reforms, the alleged bonus of Barclays Bank Chairman, the imprisonment of religious extremists and allegations made in The Sun of alleged racist implications in relation to interim England Football manager, Stuart Pearce, Prime Minister Cameron, in his interview to BBCNews24 from Sweden, opted to focus on football matters (arguably influenced by his acquaintance with a former Sun editor) by claiming that "Fabio Capello was wrong" in relation to John Terry, and emphasised his view by adding "you can't be captain with that question mark that needs to be answered"... before John Terry has taken one step into court to answer the charges against him... while Andy Coulson is still fresh in our minds and Diane Abbott MP retains her seat in the Commons following her "White people" Twitter remarks. 11th February 2012, five Sun journalists arrested. Ignoring their lengthy and concerted "guilty until innocent" smear campaign against John Terry, The Sun cries "It's a Witch Hunt" We, the undersigned, conclude that the blatant hypocrisy and odious agendas employed by Members of both Houses of Parliament unequivocally demonstrates that politicians are unfit persons to be involved in football and that the UK's once proud democracy has been tarnished by the erosion of the principle of "Innocent till proven guilty" emanating from Westminster. Football supporters and lovers of the game will not tolerate attempts by Parliament to influence our beautiful game and demonstrate that principle at the ballot box. Should the above spark sufficient support, its undoubtedly best to proceed quickly as history shows that Westminster PLC thrives on public apathy Stay brite

Which of these players is the worst buy
sh*t Crespo??? the Hernan variety... who scored 300 goals in 18 seasons, who banged in 20 goals from 49 Chels appearances and, still playing in India, has become the most expensive player in the recent NFL inspired player auction. Well if that's sh*t I'll have two pints of it
