Would love to see Wigan do something against them as it would secure 3rd for us rendering the Everton game meaningless and allowing the players to finally take their foot off the gas.

Think Wigan are screwed to be honest, they have escaped many times before but this is not an Arsenal side on their holidays yet.

Would be the only possible days it could have been done. It would not be Monday night with the Europa final on the Wednesday, but it could be Friday night given the last Prem fixtures are on the Sunday.

I think today's result has removed any doubt about Spurs being able to overtake us this season. With Stoke being down to 10 for most of the second half Spurs could have put them to the sword and won by 4 or more clear goals, maybe even reducing the goal difference between us and them to 10 or 11. Them matching our scoreline from yesterday has the GD sitting at 16 in our favour and as much as I could see Sunerland collapsing and maybe allowing Spurs to get 7 or 8, especially if Sunderland are safe before the game, I cannot see Everton beating us by the same score.

Cannot say more than what has been said already. Have seen some all time greats in my time of watching Chelsea. Zola, Drogba, Terry and Super Frankie Lampard. I feel very blessed to have seen those 203 goals. Sign him up!

Lol yeah. They are nothing special as Porto showed. If we play to our best we should win, Hazard or no Hazard. Is just up to us to produce our best because they are good enough to take advantage if we are not.

Any injury update news for us? Aside from losing did Benfica get through the game with no injury problems. Think Daveys picked side is probably the one Rafa will go with. With no Hazard we will be left to hope one or more from the group of Luiz, Lampard, Mata and Oscar inspire us to win.

Forgot to add the Spurs 2nd against us having an offside in the build up. Just seems like lady luck is well in the Spurs corner and firmly against us.

I knew seeing the size of this thread we must be losing and things were going wrong for us and surprise surprise that is the case. More fool me again looking at this line up, with Ba, Hazard, Mata, Lamps and JT all starting and Yossi and Marin not in it that we should go out there, be professional, and get the job done. Hmm this came out of the blue! I guess it depends where the next Chelsea manager, Jose or otherwise, places him. If he is to be just a back up and Gala would give him this huge deal and he could team with Dider again then is a big opportunity as opposed to our bench for less money. And if we are successful we will end up with a lot of games, at Gala there would be less and JT has played through so many injuries for us have to wonder how long his body will let him play at the top. Still though I want him and Lamps to be with us like Scholes and Giggs are for United. So would be a very sad day to see him leave. As it was with Zola. As it was with Drogba.
