Why would there be? We are only the current holders of the Champions League and defending FA cup holders. We are not important... Besides they probably just believe City will walk all over us and go on to win the cup since the league is beyond them.

Not serious, just seeing Spurs urged on, even in the context for us to have the chance to knock them out, is still strange to me on our forum lol. Only time I could see myself wanting Spurs to win, (even if I was offered a 99% deal we would beat them I would still worry about the 1%), is if Spurs were facing United.

Basel, Fener or Benfica possible next round. The latter two we have knocked out of the CL in recent years, and to be honest think any of them, on their day, could give us a real hard time. But none I would say are better than Rubin.

Maybe but aside from facing us, which is a chance to control points gained by a rival, their fixture list is very weak so I would not say blessing, this was a very good chance of a trophy for them.

Sounds like you gave it a right go so nothing to be ashamed of. Is good for us imo that you go out because you were the main threat left to us in it, though any of the other sides can beat us since QPR managed to do so. May help your top 4 bid.
