One of those games.another day we would have scored six(like Everton).no criticism for any of our players.plaudits?their keeper immense - and costa,I love the guy even when he doesn't score.his movement is a joy to behold.missed a sitter no doubt - but I have a feeling he won't dwell on it.miss some score more,is the feeling I get with him and his mentality. Great to see us creating a plentiful of chances in nearly all the games we have played.looking forward to the arsenal game.we have more goals in us than they do - but we have a vastly superior defense,obviously on the day you never know.

good result.things I take from it...I don't understand why Willian gets so much stick,he is head and shoulders above oscar.his high energy levels are exactly what we need, he makes things happen.granted he loses the ball cheaply at times - but so do most of our players.in my opinion,he has huge potential - and Jose should stick with him as a regular starter. Now Costa,this guy's positional ability you can't teach-and IMO if we don't win the league this year it will be nothing to do with him.he is an out and out centre forward,given chances he will stick them away hallelujah! Midfield still worries me in the shape of fabregas and matic and the consistency of hazard and ramires.however man city are our only threat in the league.Europe is obviously a different matter.

Well,looks as if It could be another game of snakes and ladders this season.why drogba was brought back(when he was washed up a couple of seasons ago)worries me.why Cahill looked like a school boy defending tonight worries me.why the midfield were wide open at times worries me.why schurrle can't make the first team squad and Oscar can on current form worries me. Early days - but i like to be controversial.fabregas looks slow and adds nothing defensively in midfield.a few fantastic defense splitting passes -the jury's out for me with him,matic is too pedestrian and is easily bypassed.the only massive plus this season is Costa. The good thing this season is Liverpool are sh*te,arsenal are sh*te and our only rivals are city.

Terry will sort it out himself.poor game one game next ten matches - sublime.nothing to do with Jose ,terry is and has always been the best centre half in the premiership.put your faith in terry.

Costa looks mentally strong,unlike previous strikers.Mental attitude these days IMO means more than technical ability in all aspects of the game and is overlooked by most managers.

For me the defining thing about Jose this time round is his treatment of mata.twice player of the year and he gets rid,to accomadate his style of playing!,which is,at best confusing,at worst naive and delusional. Next year he will either be crowned the best manager that graced Stamford bridge,or a manager that has shot his bolt.

I think "twist things" is a bit harsh a bit of a segue yes - but do you really think Cole would not be on the plane to Brazil if he had been playing regularly?.who is to blame for that?.yes but azpi won an award at left back,semantics, he would have won an award playing in his natural position right back.Cole at left back azpi at right back and Ivan as a squad player in a cb and rb position IMO would have been more fruitful. I agree.he has the potential to be the best attacking cm player for us in a very long time.depends what Jose does with him and the players around him. Maybe he will be played as a pivot,you never know with Jose,Dave at left back,even though Cole is still world class worries me.the whole mata,hazard,Cole,and maybe lampard and terry situation,is a noose around Jose's neck.get it wrong and Roman will get rid and rightly so.

Look, as I have alluded to before,hazard doesn't need to prove himself to the 'special one'.like mourhino,he probably thinks he is 'special'. as a footballer or a manager in today's game,money distorts reality.hazard is not as good as he thinks and Jose the same.
