I have felt like this for a while mate. I have seen Chelsea win the FA cup and League cup i remember the games though the rounds prior to the finals, i remember having the option if i wanted to stand or seat, go home and away this was our time my friend. This was real life for me. Now,yeah alright, i have seen Chelsea win the league and become Champions of Europe but i was,nt there. That was all on the box i witnessed that and that i am sorry to say aint the same.So that is why, when we lose i find it a lot easier to get over than when we lost when i was a regular down the Bridge. But there will always be a part of me that will keep cheering Chelsea on though the good times and especially the bad times if they should ever return.

The reason we are all nervous about this one, is the thought of losing to them is unbearable because who they are. Thats all. All mouth thats all they are. Thats why evey London club hates losing to them! Im sure we will be alright they ain't that good. Back in the late seventies Fred Perry polo shirts could be found in all sorts of colours and i do recall seeing a claret shirt with the trade mark laural and 2 thin blue strips on the collar and around the arms.

This for me was the worst night of fv i have ever seen at the Bridge and surrounding areas.It wasnt just about Chelsea and Sunderland that night there was a heavy presence of West ham about as they were playing Wimbledon at Plough Lane that same night.One thing i wont forget is standing on the platform at Southfields station and seeing a tube pull in and it had a few West ham on it and a bloke stood next to me turned to see mate and said "there is gonna be a lot of trouble tonight" he was'nt wrong. Just for the record i did'nt get in that night but what happened outside was mental.

I can remember having a conversation with an old shed ender from back in the skinhead era some time ago now.Whilst sitting at home today i remember the conversation and i wondered if there was any truth in it. So some of you old shed enders or north stand boys might be able to shine some light on this, what this chap told me, because if it is true i found it quiet Intresting. He told me that back in the day when the skinhead fashion was at its height, that you could go to Stamford Bridge and would be able to identify where people were from.ie If you were from, say Stockwell you wore for instance blue braces and blue laces in your boots and say if you were from say Battersea it would be for instance red braces and red laces in your boots and different areas had their own colours.So is their any truth in this or was this old skinhead telling me some porkies all them years ago.
