Chelsea players you've met
Remember John Harley he was in the Garage pub in Southfields with his bird once.Good bloke had a bit of a chat with us but i think his bird felt a bit uncomfortable so he went. Also see Bobby Stewart in the Dog and Fox in Wimbledon Village whilst he played for Everton. When he saw we noticed him he went to the other side of the pub, proberley thought he was gonna get a bit of stick. We did have Chelsea shirts on at the time.

Do you think Boris will knock down all the bridges from Tower bridge so Roman will be able to moor his yacht? This beast makes HMS Belfast look like a Hoseason canal boat.

Chelsea now and in the 80's?
Same here mate i stopped going around about the same time and for the same reason and i must say the vocal support at the bridge sometimes is dissapointing. If it went back to terracing(which it wont) the atmosphere would be a lot more better and more intimidating for visting teams and their supporters because all the nutters(dont take the wrong way lads) could stand together just like the days of the original Shed.

Yes your right mate the pub on the edge of the Patmore Estate is the Duchess and i think its a big Chelsea pub. The pub opposite the dogs home is the Pavillion and i think there is another pub there called Flannigans. If i am right in thinking they a quiet small boozers and you would be pushed to get in there on a match day.I think the Duke of Cornwall, a typical back street pub is on Havelock Terrace but it has been a good eight odd years since i have been down that way.

Do you think the Yanks will have a say in who gets the land? Because litery just across the road, on the old Royal mail site that is where they are gonna build their new embassy.I dont think they would like a Russian billonaire as a neighbour.- Battersea bid
I did here they were falling down and need a lot of money to sort them out.- Battersea bid
If this is the case its gonna be hard to have a drink before the game.I can only think of two or maybe three boozers in a 500 yard vicinity of the perposed site and the Kings road is a good mile and half away. Stay at the bridge thats what i think if not, ain't Earl's court still an option?- Terrace Taunts
I remember going up to Highbury on the tube a few years back when a certain Arsenal defender had been a naughty boy and for about 20 minutes the whole carridge was singing (The Adams family tune) First there was a piss up, Then there was a smash up, Then there was a lock up, The Adams family. Very funny, even the gooners were laughing.Classic Chelsea wit.- Where to watch the Final in the UK
What about the north end road?, surely there must be some pubs up there what are gonna be doing something.- London Derbies - Good or Bad?
I suppose you could say it was harder for a London club to win the league a couple of decades ago because the rivaly on the pitch was more tense and tackles flew in left right and center. Nowdays the players, 99% of the time have a lot of respect for their fellow professionals so i dont think it makes a difference if there are 5 or 6 London clubs in the league. Maybe thats why Liverpool where so great in the 70's and 80's,Because all us Londoners were kicking the f*** out of each other on the pitch and they just kept slipping under the radar every season. Just a thought.- Munich tickets - discussion
Good luck to all of you.Have a fantasic time in Germany, and lets be the 12th man what brings the cup back home to the bridge.- Terrace Taunts
This classic was aimed at Liverpoo "Does the social know your here , does the social know yor here.- Terracing, the bad side
It was even funnier when the old bill came in to get some poor sod and the good old knees up mother brown started.Policemen getting bounced about everywhere and the odd stray helmet.- Train crash
Hello everyone.I have been coming on this site for some months and find it very enjoyable so i have decided to join in the fun and try and get a few questions answered what have been bugging for years. Right here we go, cast your minds back to the early 90,s we played Liverpoo at Anfield,The game Paul Elliot got badly injured and finished his playing career. On the way home the train crashed into one of those metal benches what some little B******* had put on the track. The train was knackered so we had to get pulled back to the nearest station and get a replacement train. This took ages and when we got there, there was old bill with dogs everywhere making sure we behaved ourselves. What station was that? Who was the MP? We was all using his Mobile brick to tell our mums, wifes, work, ect ect to tell them that we were all gonna be late.Jack Straw springs to mind but i could be wrong. The old mobile was very rare and very big in them days kids. We got back to Euston and loads of people missed their connections so had to get taxis home i can remember one bloke had to get back to Torquay and the train companies footed the bill.I was told the tubes were still running and got as far as Victoria and had to walk the rest of the way to Southfields. No more tubes. No more money and sobering up rapidley.Happy days. Oh and by the way did we win? - Battersea bid
