DavidNewland
Just thought I would let everyone know about a interesting fact I worked out about how much Van Persie has carried Arsenal this year. If it wasn't for Van Persie's goals this year Arsenal would be 14th in the Premier league with only 42 points. And they would of got knocked out of the Champions League at the group stage and in the 4th round of the FA Cup.

Can we expect Arse nil 2012/13 season to pan out like this when RVP decides to leave and start trying to get his hands on some medals. I hope so! matamarryme
That's like saying where would we be without Lampard and Drog or Man City without Aguero really. No point dwelling on it but I get your point!
TheWestwayWonder
Interesting. It always seems like they get a big season out of someone, or else they would be screwed. I don't think he will leave. (null) I think if he doesnt move this summer, he wont move at all. He is gonna be 29 before next season starts and unlike Fabregas and Nasri who were still quite young. I dont know if any team is gonna pay a big fee for him when he is 30+. Barca is the best fit out there I can see, for their needs and for their budget. matamarryme
He has been with Arsenal since '04 so really doubt he'll move if he only has a couple years left in him to be honest..

If anything thats more of a reason for him to move, seeing as though he`s won very little with them surely he will want one last move to win stuff. Mike 93
If he doesnt sign a contract, he goes for free next year so just because he'll be 29 doesnt mean he wont move.

KrazyTea
Will have to see if the Podolski experiment works out and helps them. Losing Nasri hurt them, if Podolski doesn't help Van Persie could well be on the move
Englishman
I wonder if Arsenal would be tempted to cash in while his value's at its peak. This is the first time in living memory van Persie's got through a season injury-free, and they won't want to have yet another player with one year left on his contract. matamarryme
If Arsenal were to cash in where does everyone reckon he'll go? And who'd replace him. Big shoes to fill as far as Arsenal are concerned I should think.

Rors21
Once Arse line up with a fully-fit team including Van Persie, Podolski, Wilshire, Arteta and a fast improving Oxlade-Chamberlain and they'll be pretty damn good. Add in M'Villa, who they're after, and they should be several notches above where they are now. Of course, they always seem to choke, perhaps because it's been so long since they won anything.
