I think the kid was worried last season that he would not play at all, losing the competition with Benteke for a spot in the national team. He made a decision under (time) pressure. next season (post-WC) will be different, I guess he will be allright with being 2d or even 3th striker, unless it's behind Torres again, or unless he scores 10 at the WC, but both are very unlikely.
