met some rangers lads that night who got us tickets for the rangers v Celtic 4-4 pissed down with rain game and skol cup final rangers v Celtic 2-1 plus loads more which we went up there and they came to our games, Leeds away 88 2-0 Liverpool at home they're league last game, both boro nightmares!!!!
great times and still keep in touch to this day!!

Good posts cobham. Despite our relative in and out success for the best part of our 1st 90 years, the where were you when you were sh*t song doesn't hold much credibility considering our crowd averages overall.

Don't know who the culprit is, but have bought some DVDs off a guy in Sweeden. He has match of the day and the big match games from late 60s up to and including The live games that started around 1983. Charges 4£ a dvd

We can get a 70,000 in there people have been building bridges and tunnels for 100's of years for access. Roman knows he cant take his money with him. Enjoy it and f**k off hammersmith and fulham council at the same time sweet.

I think the attendances 'issue' is really interesting. I've wasted some time (too much time!) arguing with a Gooner and  Scouser on YouTube over our attendances versus theirs. Probably some truth in what both MB and Downthefront say. It's a complicated issue. I'm going to start a thread on it some time. Maybe not today but soon(ish).

Simon maskell is spot on re the 84 west ham game 3-0. They were in the west stand at 1.30pm and took the piss because no one was in there. It kicked off again in gate 13 but I can't remember the outcome of that tussle as I was in the shed. What I do remember clear as day is their finest coming into the shed 5 minutes before the end of the game via the bovril & whitewall and being destroyed long before the final whistle was blown. A few fellows on here agree it was the best firm they have witnessed at the bridge as do I. But it was dealt with emphatically and you will be hard pressed to find a west ham fan who remembers that particular game along with the 5-3 at their place because they were humiliated by their attempts to take us.

West Ham 1 Chelsea 1 84/85 was an 11.30 ko the game shown on hooligan documentry no West Ham in South bank.
West Ham 1 Chelsea 2 85/86 was a night game its on youtube Chelsea had a few on the right have a go at the chicken run but plod sorted it out.
West Ham 5 Chelsea 3 86/87 a 3pm ko also on youtube West Ham appeared in  what is the usual away corner. You see this on itn source if you type Chelsea hooligans. No West Ham came on the pitch or out the west side seats or chicken run all 3 games

I think the pikeys ran across from the chicken run into the bottom corner that day but didn't last long. Half of the end made a beeline for them. Those first 2 seasons back our support was awesome.

80 at home, really hot day, west ham try to take the shed in small groups and get mullered. However all of those in the west stand benches and in the north stand move towards the shed. But the game is over.Outside it is Chelsea who get mullered and to top it all Wilkins scores an own goal in the last minute and we lose 1-0 The game in 84 west ham were in the west stand, gate 13 and of course in the north stand, but not in the shed.
