Today's been a really good one for me and my family in football terms. Not only did Chelsea win (and keep a clean sheet) the other close connections all won as well and kept clean sheets too. The missus is well happy with Watford winning 2-0, I'm happy with my second team Inverness Cally winning 2-0 as well and the whole village is happy with Rushden and Diamonds just scraping home 9-0 (yes that's nine - nil) against Weymouth.

What with these results and Mr Chelsea's grandchild being called Ruby I think I'll treat myself to a ruby murray of my own tonight!!

To add to that, Geezer, Arsenal look toothless, and Man Utd's defense was finally breached after 22 frigging hours. Well done Big Sam and Blackburn

No cheers from Nene park because they were playing away. Apparently Weymouth are in dissaray because there was a player walkout so maybe that explains the result.

Nothing like a village having a smile on its face after it's team unashamedly demolish a team of kids whilst the club is falling into financial oblivion eh! :)

I'm sure Weymouth folk would have had a smile on their faces had the situation been reversed. Hey-ho.

ps. Our actual village first team happened to lose 9-0 as well however they couldn't use the same excuse as Weymouth. At least the reserves won though.
