February 12, 200916 yr Sorry if you were expexting a dolly bird! This is a blast from the past! Who remembers which one wouldn't travel by plane and had to be sedated? Wasn't it B.A. Baracus?
February 12, 200916 yr Of course! One of my favourite childhood tele shows, you're not an 80's kid if it wasn't!
February 12, 200916 yr Author yes, Moos, it was B.A Baracus1 And no, Mod, I wasn't an 80's kid, but I was fortunate enough to have 80's kids, so I could watch it with them. I think tea-time had to be timed around it! It was brilliant!
February 12, 200916 yr It's amazing seeing these programmes now and thinking how tacky it all was, but they were the gnats flaps back then. Knight Rider was another one, pure quality!
February 12, 200916 yr Author The gnat's flaps????? What good eyesight you have, Mod!!! Knightrider was indeed a superb one! Could you describe it as the midge's gonads? My kids also loved the Dukes of Hazzard, though I was less enthusiastic about that!
May 2, 200916 yr The Streethawk was brilliant. Remember he always had to radio in to make sure the road ahead was clear before hitting the turbo on his boke; then all they did was show footage of a road going by quickly as if that's what the road would look like if you were on the bike, ut never actual footage of the bike going fast. Airwolf was another favourite of mine too. The Fall Guy I never got into, but i had mates that stood by it!
May 2, 200916 yr Sorry if you were expexting a dolly bird! This is a blast from the past! Who remembers which one wouldn't travel by plane and had to be sedated? Remember they also had to sedate him by using "laced" burgers. he'd take a bite then swoon. He got privy to it, so demanded next time that he would have Murdoch's. So they swapped burgers, Murdoch took a bite and swooned. BA chuckled, took a bite, and then he swooned because Murdoch's was really the "laced one." My they were such pranksters, and we all laughed

May 2, 200916 yr Manimal was great - just seemed to disappear though. I remember thinking it was state of the art sopecial effects at the time - probably looks like a man in a comedy tiger suit now.
May 3, 200916 yr manimal... jesus. the eighties really was an appalling decade for popular culture. although it did give us V.
May 3, 200916 yr manimal... jesus. the eighties really was an appalling decade for popular culture.although it did give us V. When was the last time you've watched V? It hasn't aged very well...and this is from someone who was nuts about it when it originally came out.
May 3, 200916 yr When was the last time you've watched V? It hasn't aged very well...and this is from someone who was nuts about it when it originally came out. years ago to be honest. think they are remaking it or something.
May 3, 200916 yr V was superb - does it matter all that much how it has aged? In its time it was the program to watch and kids who were really too youung would do all they could to stay up and watch it so they could talk about it at school the next day. Not only that it taught us that Freddy was really just a big pansy!
