Posted August 26, 200915 yr I've been watching the Apoel Nicosea v FC Copenhagen match for 2 reasons. I wanted the Cypriot team to get through as I fancy a week in Cyprus whilst watching Chelsea in Europe. But it was also interesting to see Nuno Morais playing for Apoel and Gronks played the 2nd half for the Danish. Anyway Apoel qualified 3-1 on the night, 3-2 on aggregate, so the Cyprus trip is a possibility (well 1 in 8 chance). Gronks missed a simple header 2 minutes from the end which would have put the Danes through... he hasn't changed. Bless him!

Bless him! was watching Gooners v Goners, what w**ks Andy Walker and Craig Burley are. million miles between the clubs - (and it would have been the same for Rangers Mad Mac et al) any way it'll be interesting to see what teams Chelsea get, obviously.., even as top seed we could get some brammers - Real and Inter - can't wait for the draw As an aside Rangers go into pot 2 so at least they might only be humped instead or Royally annihilated
August 26, 200915 yr I was watching Sporting play Fiorentina. I was rooting for Sporting, purely because they have a load of players who are awesome on Football Manager. Was a fairly good game, Veloso looked decent, but Fiorentina's striker Jovetic looked immense. Really, really lively from the moment he came on. He's only 19 as well, I wouldn't be at all disappointed if we signed him.

August 27, 200915 yr Nice to see Arsenal and Eduardo getting a caning for diving. Wenger refusing to condemn it. Wasn't it him who was having a go at Drogba for diving at the end of last season? Hypocrite!!

August 27, 200915 yr Rangers pot 2? I think you'll find it's pot 3. Astonishing I know - should be pot 4!! Rangers are in pot 2 and it doesnt matter how good they are compared to teams in pot 3 or pot 4 they are there on merit.

When asked about whether the team needed improving (on the basis that they got battered by United, and United got battered by Barca), he did reply with that Barca should not have been in the CL final at all, so my respect for him went up somewhat, even if it was just for acknowledging the truth.

September 2, 200915 yr Hi guys, I just registered at the forum I'm from Cyprus, but there's no way I'm supporting APOEL because to my team they are like Man Utd is to Chelsea and also Chelsea are simply above everyone else. Hope Chelsea score 7! Btw September has the best weather of the year
