Yesterday Drogba scored his 100th goal for Chelsea. But with the dismal performance and result, it understandably hasn't had much mention.

On song, there are few strikers in the world who are better than him, and he's played an enormous part in our success over the last 5 years. So congratulations to him.

Mentioned it in Match Chat, but yeah shame such a landmark was overshadowed with everythign else that went on yesterday.

Anyway, well done Didier

Drogba, how can i sum the guy up ? Lets start with 'world class', he has everything the complete striker needs, pace, strength, skill, awarness , can score from anywhere , can play as a lone striker and still run the show. Watching Drogba since he joined Chelsea has been a rollercoaster ride of admiration and frustration , his ability as a footballer is just incredible , he's a one man show at times and his record of 100 goals for the club says it all.

I wouldn't swap him for any player in the world.

Well done Didier.

Well done Didier Drogba and thank you for your contribution and 100 goals. Our journey has had it's ups and downs, but you are one of us and we wouldn't swap you for any other.

reading his book atm, a good read. Congrats didier, worked real hard to be as good as he is today and luckily its us reaping the benefits

Congrats Didier, a fantastic achievement.

Let's have numbers 101, 102 and 103 against the Dippers on Sunday please.

realised I have been amiss not to pay my respects to the drog...a great achievement...i'm sure he would have turned saturday around on his own but for that pen and red card

:P

One of my favourites was his goal against everton a few years back, on the chest, turn and back of the net. Hard to actually choose a favourite though theres been so many great ones.

well done to the drogs

as anyone got the stats???

DIDIER DO WELL

Dear Martin, I noticed Didier Drogba scored his 100th Chelsea goal against Wigan. I was wondering if you could tell me who he has scored most goals against. He always seems to score against Liverpool. Thanks, James Halcro

MARTIN SAYS: The Ivory Coast international certainly does enjoy scoring against Liverpool, having scored against them seven times in all competitions - and he might add to that tally on Super Sunday. However, they are not his favourite opponents. That honour falls to Arsenal, who have been on the receiving end of eight Drogba strikes in the last five seasons - which proves he is the man for the big occasion. Drogba has also enjoyed a strong scoring record against Middlesbrough, Everton and Man City, as you can see from the list below.

Didier Drogba's goals against: 8 - Arsenal; 7 - Liverpool; 6 - Middlesbrough; 5 - Everton, Man City; 4 - Portsmouth, West Brom, Bolton; 3 - Blackburn, Fulham, Levski Sofia, Newcastle, Reading, Spurs, Watford, West Ham; 2 - Aston Villa, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Hull, Juventus, Norwich, Paris Saint Germain, Rosenburg, Valencia, Wigan; 1 - Birmingham, Burnley, CFR Cluj, Charlton, Coventry, Crystal Palace, Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, Porto, Real Betis, Schalke, Stoke, Sunderland.

Awesome - this list would only be better if we had Tottenham in first place, followed by Arsenal and Liverpool.... ;)

Stand up!
