Matches under investigation were played in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Turkey, Hungary, Bosnia-Hercegovina and Austria.

As well as I was surprised not to see Serbia.

We're in the sh*tter together, my friend. :D

(though Serbian football is resurging right now and ours is even worse than usual)

Now I haven't seen it, but, I was told that there was an article in one of the broadsheets at the weekend that alleged that people within UEFA itself were the subject of ongoing police investigations. The link was that these UEFA administrators had been passing on the details of which match officials were going to be in charge of certain games to the criminal gangs.

We should get the Shed End's own top anti-corruption crime fighter, Liam-Poirot-Marple-Morse to investigate.

please please let it be true. The corruption and incompotence have got to end somewhere, and by the sounds of it, this scandal could be a real iceberg: alot more below the surface.
