December 26, 201015 yr Yeah the first bit of the main chorus is taken from Streets of Laredo, which as far as I understand is a pretty common old tune as well. The rest is original. Just on Cash. I really like the American albums he did with Rick Rubin, his voice is nearly finished but there are some really intense and heartfelt versions on those albums. This is my favourite, a cover of the Beatles 'In My Life' recorded shortly after the death of his wife, and of course not long before his own demise.
