Cult Simple Minds song from circa 1980, seems to refer to the Manhattan Project, really like the distorted bass guitar sound on this.

The Bluebells with ‘Young at Heart.’  It reached No 8 in July 84. 

 In 1993 and it was used in a Volkswagen commercial and reached No 1 ! 
The band briefly reformed just to perform the single again on Top Of The Pops.

Blondie with ‘The Tide is High.” Another Blondie song from 1980.   Most of my high school year seemed to have bought this single from memory.😀
My old dear worked in the local branch of John Menzies in late 1980 and I got the Blondie ‘Autoamerican’ album for Christmas 1980.
One of the other perks was she brought me a copy of the NME (New Musical Express) every week. That was cool !
