In all seriousness, Parker might not be a bad buy for them. He's been solid for West Ham, and it means they can shift out some of their pedestrian midfielders like Lucas...

bang on. apparently he asked if he was first choice and was told to fight for his place. he decided not to and left. good player but thats not really the kind of attitude that will get you to the top.

can understand him leaving when he did though. he was behind maka, lamps and then we signed essien.

he was looking at one stage like getting a regular place in the england squad but he was never going to maintain that whilst he was bench warming at chelsea, in fact he was often out the chelsea squad altogether. he wanted and needed to play first team football so i dont blame him at all, nothing to do with his attitude whatsoever. cant blame a player for wanting to play. lets face it we've had a fair few these past few years that were happy to sit on the bench, now THATS a bad attitude imo.
